This week, in addition to exhibiting our EDM and Femtosharp machines at the CCMT in Shanghai, ?and ? (Name redacted)also travelled to Shandong, China, for an important business visit with our prospective customer, Weichai.

Together, we explored the pathway towards large-scale production of 100+ MW SOFC fuel cells, as well as opportunities to further accelerate laser drilling speeds.

Through your hard work, we continue to achieve new breakthroughs in drilling speed and quality. Weichai has expressed great confidence in the future of our partnership.

Pictured is an SOFC power generation unit installed within Weichai’s industrial park. At the heart of the system are fuel cell components developed through our long term collaboration with Ceres Power, where we supported the research, development, and manufacturing of advanced cell technology. This stands as a powerful reminder that the work we do today can shape industries for years to come.

This week, we also witnessed several hydrogen buses in operation across Asia — clear evidence that the transition to cleaner energy is no longer a vision of the future, but a reality unfolding now.
