Especially so since from the jv rns we wouldn't even know that there were going to be any vertical wells. All it says is " ("WP") comprising 3 new wells focussed on the Eocene reservoir and 3 well work-overs".
Actually, you are right. Buys and sells are going through at more or less the same as late Friday.
Good excuse to quote that song though. Lol.
All sells and it's up.
How bizarre.

Meant to add that we don't know the situation with vertical wells. Maybe, as you say they won't be so affected by fluid build up. A bit more info would be helpful.
Ssccss. The new wells should not be impacted much by water ingress. 77h is a 10 year old well and water only became a problem when the old zones were reconnected. However, they will still need the jet pump to remove the condendate. It was this that hindered gas flow when the well was first drilled in 2014. They have said that one pump is able to service multiple wells.
NS. As I keep saying, it is largely academic because of course Selan will only want to a pay a small fraction of what they are expecting to make out of it over many years in order for it to be worth their while. Syn will make the same amount plus a further 10 million from the costs they will not be paying.
I was also surprised by the vertical wells which Roland has not mentioned before and by the expected production. Interesting to see the cost difference between horizontal and vertical. Yes maybe the vertical can be converted to horizontal later.
Roland has said that the target for vertical wells is 2 mmscfd and horizontal wells 4 mmscfd. Seems surprisingly high for the vertical, be interesting to know more about that. You'd hope Syn's share og revenue would be sufficient to finance the next phase of drilling after the first year. Hard to work it out though as we don't know the timetable for 5horizontal, vertical wells and workovers coming into production during the year. Obviously, can't be any bonus triggered during the first year.
Hi Candlestick. Couldn't find it and for a wlhile there you had me thinking I was losing the plot. Lol.
It wasn't in the jv rns and in his Interview Roland just talked about flow rates of 4 mmscfd for horizontal wells and 2 mmscfd for vertical wells. Then I remembered it was in Selan's own announcement.

Summary of the transaction
In exchange for the 50% participating interest
o Company will pay Synergia Group a cash payment of US$2.5 million immediately following GoI Approval
o Company will carry Synergia Energy Ltd. for up to US $10 million for Synergia’s share of capital spends in the Cambay PSC, through an agreed work programme (“WP”) comprising of 3 new wells including 1 horizontal well and workovers in 3 exiting wells.
Note also, what it says about how much Selan are carrying Synergia for. However, as I said before this is largely irrelevant as their remaining 50% is worth many multiples of this.
Guess they'll be back as soon as we get some action DP.

I'm in sunny Surrey Espen where there is blue though the window as well as on this board. Nice to see the sun after yesterday's deluge. Atb.
A patch of blue I see, peering out from behind the clouds ?
Thanks for the link to Simply Wall Street. Perhaps I am missing something but it appears they are forecasting Revenue of A$30.1m ( £16 million ) and Profit of A$17.1 m (£9 million ) for the year ending 30/6/2024. Obviously impossible.
The profits they give for mid 2025 are around
£16 million.
Obviously, nobody really knows what the numbers are going to be, but I guess it can only be a good thing if views are turning positive. Now all we need is for it to be reflected in the share price.
Gla.
Thanks Callum.
Callum. I was quoting from your post of 21.27.
Not sure why we are talking about 2025 numbers being 50% ish higher than this year. How much higher will 2024 be higher than 2023 . Must be many hundreds of percent.
Just had an email reply from Briana. Others have said the same. They are talking to Research Tree to try to find a solution.
So, another massive drop then? Only kidding, I know you mean 0.3 to 0.4. Lol.
I was hoping for maybe 0.25 on the jv. Bite your arm off for 0.19 now.
NS. I don't disagree but it's never stopped them before. As you say, all we can do is hope for the best.
