The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Evening guys. Nice to see the old school are still lurking in the shadows ;-).
I was talking to one of our groundsmen of our football club yesterday ( of which I am vice chair ) it turns out he has Copd and takes a multitude of steroids to relieve his symptoms. I told him about SN001 and the results they had achieved with CóVID and how the Copd were still on going ! He was all ears and said he would talk to his daughter in law who happens to be second in command in pharmaceuticals for a South Coast hospital as she hates the fact he takes a ****tail of drugs every day. ........it was interesting hearing the effects he suffers.
Let's keep our feet firmly on mother earth. Personally I don't think the profs and Richard are money driven ! This will be more about bringing their baby to market !
Current SP £2.40 on the basis of one set of results in one country with a small trial. Peer reviews, home trials , Copd yet to come ! Institutions starting to accumulate.
This has all the hallmarks of being exceptional ! A real unicorn ! But we are a long way off the finish!
I'm sure the SNG board has a rye smile ! Which means we may all be beaming at some point: -) IMHO
We certainly have to take the positives from this week ! Holding steady at 2.20 ish is a big plus with no new news IMO.
RM is a cool headed business man and I'd imagine an extremely busy man behind the scenes business wise. That coupled with professor Holgate and the medical team providing answers to numerous questions across the world ! I'm sure they've never been so manic ! We've been Patient through the dark times which has rewarded us with the current SP......exciting times ahead :-)
Sparkle ....In normal circumstances I would agree ! But this isn't a one trick pony and I for one would limit myself to one partner with its potential for other pulmonary disease. If SNG001 is a game changer I would still like to be in control of its future applications. IMO :-)
Agreed oils ......I certainly don't think the professors are money driven ! I would imagine after 14 years the prowess of seeing your hard work making a difference in the medical world would be more what drives the SNG team
Good morning all.
Personally I think SNG will sail under its own steam now.
After weeks of shenanigans, we now under the microscope with the first round of results ! peer reviews from Pharma companies/ governments have probably already taken place , hence Richard already talking to people.
In my opinion the Americans will probably drive this on ! Perfect storm what with President Trump needing some positivity in the USA. We also now have raising cases through Europe so the urgency is upon us with a probably 2nd wave landing.
This will be a very interesting and exciting week ! Especially if more positive news lands.
Im having a real Chuckle here about the price predictions ;-) . The bottom line is ! It's worth what it's worth ! .....and as always that will basically be down to the data once it's be evaluated by the companies / governments interested in SNG.
There is no doubt the results were impressive to the SNG team , of which I'm sure they were quietly confident of a good trial.
But the fact remains that when your paying probably upward of a billion £s for something you certainly want that call to be right! Also the fact that government would be placing a political bet on SNG . I reckon they would want to make sure that silver bullet would work ! ........All things being equal though ! If it does what it says on the tin ! Then SNG could exceed anyone's predictions , IMHO ....
