Many shares are held back requiring finance, no longer the case for Hummingbird.
Surely this is worth more than 39p when a brown field site.imho.

when poring gold. Second mill now and gold much higher @$1500. Never mind 50p.

Quite agree should be very much higher sp than when we were a mud field.
Price of gold was a lot lower then and we have a much more experienced team.

Just two points to add.
Dan has stated in the past that it could be the best use of company money if the sp did not rise,
the share at that time was trading about 39p , the board made the legal arrangements to allow it.
What kept the sp falling when announcing good results was some mysterious sellers.
What would help the sp rise would be a known Hummingbird.

They are waiting for test results as to ascertain the best way of increasing LOM.
It is not if but what is best. Do we go deeper, go elsewhere , what gives best return to shareholders.
They have to be sure because this market would crucify informing inaccuracies.
Buying shares would imho not effect long term growth and would cheer me up.

I agree that it is a good interview. I have always been a Dan Fan and I am heavily invested.
As I have previously stated, the team have worked hard, performed well to build a mine to budget.
They have learnt from last years wet season overcoming a number of acts of god. It has been a bumpy ride , but one bump still needs sorting. The SP needs to reflect the true value of the company. Dividends once started need to be continued, so holding back a year or two is understandable. IIs will understand, not so PIs on AIMs.
Pumping £2 million into a one off share buyback would up the SP, discourage a cheap takeover and cheer loyal shareholders. I am staying long term .

I realise that there are many ways to use all the extra cash generated from a second mill, turning out 20% more gold in the wet season, sold @ $1450.
As our SP is less now as a gold producer than when we were a brown field site, it is time for. management to see off any shorters by using the buyback option.
One or two million pounds should be found from under a typewriter to start this.
It will allow the company a realistic valuation for the wealth being created today.
It is in the long term interest of shareholders, the Mali community and the hard working Hummingbird team. Any future RNS outlining future plans would surely be better received by the market, having had a significant SP rise. imho.

It also appears that if Capita group had not sold when they did, their investment would be worth
more today and far more tomorrow. Roll on Q4.

I didn’t hear anything derogatory about Dan Betts, nothing underhand about Hummingbird.

Personally I fail to understand why we are dwelling on a relative of Dan Betts , a day showing Q3 has delivered fantastic results. Is it being suggested that Dan has done anything wrong.
One of a number of IIs have purchased shares in Hummingbird and today’s results indicate, they have picked a winner. Should a relative have broken financial rules for self gain, then let the wrath of the world fall upon him. This does not justify holding back the SP, nor does it stop the company selling gold @ around $1500 , having produced 20% more on a second mill during wet season.
I think it is a team effort from the Hummingbird team and they deserve credit.
Is it a crime to know influential people, most CEOs would be guilty.

Seems like fund manager thought Hummingbird was a winner.
Always good to follow the money. Can’t wait for next RNS and Q4.
