Perhaps Thoma Bravo were hoping to takeover Darktrace for a lot lower valuation than that of the Darktrace board.
I can't see the GB Group board recommending a takeover to the shareholders for peanuts either.

I didn't like the way the stockmarket was moving so sold my entire ISA share portfolio Friday am on 21st Jan, including 160 CKN at 3686p........ lost £85 so consider myself quite fortunate considering the price now.
Been out of the market since 21st Jan as I transferred my ISA cash to AJ Bell and only completed today.
Think I'll sit on the side lines and wait for the CKN share price to stop the downward trend before making another purchase.

The last results were excellent, so I feel fortunate that I've been able to buy with the surprising current share price weakness.

One of the mm's has picked up a bargain! Nearly one million shares at 2.7p. Someone clearly put the decimal point in the wrong place with a sell order.

The Dow was up 520pts earlier today and than after an announcement of the first case of Omicrom confirmed in the USA it fell into negative territory. At the time of writing the Dow is up 100pts.
I suppose we'll just have to get used to plenty of share price volatility for the next few weeks.
