Am I right in assuming it's $60 /yr for a Leakbot in the USA?

In the last few minutes of the interview Craig says that they turned down an approach from Germany to concentrate on existing contracts.Now if current capacity is 250,000/yr with a parallel plant available then they must be fairly sure this capacity is spoken for.Though I presume staff numbers would also compose a restraint at this present time.

There is competition but it involves skilled labour visiting the property and cutting the intake pipe as do smart meters.

Yesterday the 230 employee's of aegis received Leakbots and as proven by ondo stats they will have found UNKNOWN problems.Brilliant marketing, remember what the head of Google insurance said after he fitted his mark 1 Leakbot.

Shares admitted to trading June 5th press conference with Portsmouth water 6th 10am.The rns mentions £100 million available in ofwat funding now if you look at the ofwat website it would appear to me that a company puts up approx 10% to receive grants up to £5 million ,so this raise could go a long way.Looking at the list of grant recipients and what they are doing for water conservation ondo fits in perfectly.+ Aus +scandi+us .

I applied for all of mine and approx 8 times that in xs,I will be very happy with my average if all are available.l think I was a year early with ondo but the potential is still there and now with the company in a much stronger position.

Very good point on the size of meters, check the size of your current gas/electric meters and see if you have room around your intake pipe, I don't.The water meter is in the pavement outside in a six inch diameter hole,it's not a smart reader just usage recording,Assuming a bigger hole needed for the upgrade which if it's like my two existing smart meters will have problems and be expensive for water co.to install if it requires extra digging.Where on your pipework can you install something the size of your existing smart meters, Leakbot on the other hand....This post is aimed at people who have power smart meters and know their faults and size and that they incur professional installation costs.

I had smart meters from EDF installed 2 yrs ago the monitor that came with them was the worst piece of plastic cr&p I have ever encountered, Ondo is now and works smart meter solutions are ?year(s) in the future, water use reduction targets are immediate .I do not believe I can order a smart meter today that will outperform a leakbot as for the Amazon competition same applies,Leakbot is proven.Does anyone out there have an EDF monitor that works without needing constant resetting.

I think Ofwat have £100 m to be awarded in April this year Ondo submitted for a slice last summer.These grants can be up to 5-6 m with the co. Putting up approx 5-10%.If you Google Ofwat innovation fund you can see all last years winners and how much they got.Look at the companies and see what they are doing and ask yourself does Ondo not fit in perfectly here.

I agree,in the post nationwide interviews Craig seemed to mention State Farm so many times that it seemed like a hint to me.Also State Farm rolled out the Ting electrical arc detector which surely is just a plug in insulation resistance tester but if it reduces claims then of course they wanted it,same applies to Ondo.

I've spent some time looking at the opposition in the form of the Phyn device also available through Selective in the US and after initial concerns I think ondo has by far the greatest potential.The USP on the Phyn as far as I can see is it's cut off mode in the event of a catastrophic leak ,the device works by memorising your water usage and sounds a leak alert if this changes significantly but even if the intake is shut off gravity will bleed the system causing potential claims and more so if a water tank is installed.Also what of unscheduled baths or washing machine use these use enough water for some serious damage before cut off occurs.The cut off device will be a sensor operated isolator,the sensor will be patented along with how to react to the usage data but the isolator won't be because it's just an isolator,as I see it ondo could do the same but a kill switch means cutting the intake pipe 1 plumber 1 hour minimum.How many units did we sign today with 10 second customer installation.The Phyn device cannot be rolled out nationwide and is not a serious rival in this sphere.As for house insurance well you get what you pay and inline installation is a huge fixed cost.

With regards to the company I believe it was bought by a company called Belkin which was bought by Foxxcom a 70 bil. Taiwanese co.I wonder what the price was,I'm not too well versed in researching such things.

One further note, the Aussie connection,now the Aussies went looking for ondo, someone was searching the worlds press for water saving stories and following them up, might Phyn been similarly approached and hopefully found wanting.
