Ghost, will give it to end of week and if nothing on web-site by then will e-mail again.
Hi Ghost, have you received communication from the Company/PR that the AGM has been moved to end of year ? surely we are still due an update from the company regards the sale of our assets and future plans ?
From the press release did anyone else get the feeling that we didn't get a kings ransom for our the sale of our assets to Viaro ? -
quotes from Cochran like 'Mr Cochran said the divestment was motivated by a desire to free the firm of hefty decommissioning liabilities'. “This is largely due to the greatly increased abandonment liabilities associated with these and their relative under performance.
When you make statements like that after the completion of a negotiated sale, doesn't sound like he was negotiating from a position of strength - almost is if he was just happy to just get rid of the assets
Maybe I am reading it wrong.
Anyone like to proffer a guess on what could be best and worse case scenarios for PIs here, based on Viaro/rockrose acquiring our Dutch assets ?
Something to do until announcement is made official.
Hi easy - plug in https://haloil.co.uk/ to your search engine
Rob - not sure what you mean about donating to his personal pension plan ? As far as I am aware there has been no sale of shares to the market to raise cash since the incorporation of HALO (March 2015). We have bought shares in the Company which was subsequently removed/suspended from trading and we have been waiting nearly 4 years for its return. I agree that Cochrane needs to make a unequivocal statement to his shareholders and market to when the Company will return to trading. I am happy he did not do it last year based on market conditions but I would like to think it is high on his agenda for this year.
Who knows, I like the rest of you would like to enjoy trading my shares in the market sooner rather than later and if he sells the Company like to think that all shareholders would see a return on what we paid for our shares.
Instead of a direct response to the shareholder letter I would like to see a PR addressing those concerns/issues and hopefully some dates that we can take to the bank!!!
Glen
Did you notice in the interview he spoke about a shell that was under his charge and guess what we are looking to list a new joint company with POW - do you think that shell could be used as a vehicle for the listing. Just a thought
Morning Bozi - I can understand you being weary on elaborating if it includes slander but if it is based in historical fact then surley that wouldn't be a problem . Please enlighten us.
Hi, Yes it was mine - 40% down on the news that GE might or might not be the tech supplier. Thats pretty severe. I have worked for multi nationals for the past 30 years and also worked on big projects. I know how difficult it is to deliver the end game and co-ordinate all parties and resources involved. I have also worked on projects where I developed realtionships with much smaller partners, which proved significant to them and beneficial to us.
I think NCCL are doing a v good job - not only for bringing this to the table but getting such big hitters involved and co-ordinating efforts to date. Hopefully not to long before these efforts will be rewarded. Glen.
Hi, can anyone see a trade (purchase) for 48,000 for 2.99 ?
from previous post
“Unlike a number of other countries globally, India continues to rely on coal for base load power,” GEPIL said in response to FE’s queries. GEPIL will therefore continue to focus its efforts on maintaining its business in India aligned with the local market dynamics and the national interests of India,” it said, indicating that the company’s transaction with coal is not yet over, at least in India.
If GE walk away from the deal in Mozambique could that impact on potential opportunities to sell other infrastructure technologies from their portfolio to that region, including alternative power technologies ? When you operate at a Global level, developing good relationships with Government agencies is key - who knows just a thought.
Hi, I see there was a news article in the financial express yesterday about GE activities in India regards their coal power exit strategy - the news is out there it's just how you interpret it in line with our project. Different countries/Geographies will be developing different exit strategies' regards coal power. The west looks like they are ready to push the button as they believe they have the infrastructure now in place to move to green(er) alternatives that will fil the Gap but other geographies in the world are maybe not so fortunate and will not able to turn on those alternatives for quite a few years to come.
To a certain extent I agree with Chrishutch I do not care if it is GE or some other Company supplying the technology. I think Mozambique (and other African states) have the right to and need access to significant increases in power generation and coal power is one of the options right on their door step, ready to be harvested (using greener technologies than the west have used over the last 100+ years).

GE Power India yet to take final call on coal exit

General Electric Company (GE) has expressed the intention to exit the new build coal power market across the world, but GE Power India (GEPIL) — the American multinational firm’s Indian subsidiary — is still assessing the holding company’s decision and its impact on business activities in the country. In last message I meant to say Europe/Amarica
Hi, I think the question you should be asking is if any potential new build in Africa is in the same category as India/China or UK/America
Cheers Glen
Hi All,
Thought you might want to hear about a conversation that I had with GE and this is not insider information. I asked the individual for clarity regards the GE announcement because they are a Supplier and contractor to our business in the UK and wanted to know if this would impact on their ability to service us.
He told me, as far as he is concerned that nothing is getting sold off (he realised the headlines were quite severe)- that the only impact is that there will be no new build Coal Power stations in Europe and the US. He said that their activities in China and India have not been affected (at this moment in time) regards new builds. I asked him about activities in Africa but he was not aware of any, probably because he is not privy to activities in that Geography. There was more I spoke to him about but not related to this project.
So now we have to work out what it means to the Ncondezi project.

Hopefully we are due the 3D Modelling report from Mira Geoscience Ltd very soon, which should allow us pin point our drill targets. The completed Model will map the size, location and orientation of gabbroic sills and dykes (conduits) across the KSZ in relation to their sedimentary host rocks (Karoo) and the overlying Kalahari cover.
MakusN, I would say you summary of the inteview is bang on - theres a lot to play for this year and with any luck we may leave 2020 with a significant find in KSZ and a funding/operations partner for KCB. We can only but hope for the best.
Shows you how manipulative the markets are - we are now down 60% on the share price we held in Nov 2019 (3 months ago) and as far as I can see the Company has not released any negative news (if anything positive over those 3 months), there has been no dilution to the share structure and no great sell of of shares. Absolutely rediculous.
Not sure it was wise releasing this news right now !!! the PIs and MMs are probably thinking that the KSZ project is not going to deliver so bailing over to this new JV, which will need funding that we do not have, so share dilution required to raise funds. MMs rubbing their hands right now
PM - you say why is there such bad sentiments to the stock ? , there has been more buys than sells, so there is no PI bad setiments, the only bad sentiment is by the MMs and their manipluative games. I don't know anything about a new placing apart from thats what the MMs are hoping for so they can cover their short position as they do with most aim stocks. F-----s
