I have and will continue to sell into rises. Simple as that.
I'd take 9p and be happy TBH - Just to escape Bird's constant BS.
I was REALLY hoping the news that Manica was producing would push the SP up and I could escape....
It going to be pretty embarrassing for him if/when he finally has to admit he's led the market astray with regards to 2Mt @RC. - As i've mentioned before, I feel the DTM would not be a good move for us as it plays into the hands of AA who for sure will not play fair and be looking to get this, should they want it, at a 'rock' bottom price.
IMO he's in damage limitation mode now relying on Ascot to get his gob/himself out of the sh*t. Ascot may well prove to outshine RC though and I and he may, for once at XTR, make us $$ in the end. Or at least the geo's/drilling teams on the ground will. I feel they've done a fantastic job to date!
The problem many of us LTH's have learned, the hard way, is that it's never a good thing when his gob is not running overtime telling us 'just a few more months....' that just a few more months has been years.
How many would jump at 10p now??
>>do you believe what Colin bird says?
I don't believe Bird believes what he says.....
"More than ever now Colin your shareholders are looking for clear transparent forward guidance." - "What I have come to believe with Colin is that his communication is not poor but intentionally opaque... as that is the way he operate" A couple of very pertinent sentences LW.
Some of the LTH's may recall the big speech Bird gave when JN resigned. (I wish I could recall which platform he gave it on). It was along the lines of 'From now on I promise openness and transparency from the BoD, good or bad.
We've seen precious little of that, the same old story of missed deliverables, the moving of goalposts and many 'misunderstandings'. With Bird it's always someone's/something other than him that's preventing the long awaited SH value. In the recent BZT interview he's taken no responsibility for the SP drop. It's 'market forces' or 'impatient investors'.
Now't to do with his his own misdirection & constant missed deliverables, ofc no PI would sell because of that!
If you're with Halifax you can vote via their online chat system. Pretty straight forward, 5mins...
>>I don’t think your get a response
A response stating that would be the least they could do then!
I sent the following to try and get some clarification of the AA agreement:
Hello,
I wonder if you could clarify some parts of the AA buyout agreement.
As I understand it: A party 'blinks' and puts a valuation on the table. If accepted, a deal is done, subject to due diligence.
If not, it goes to a 3rd party 'expert' valuation. If the valuation is accepted by both parties the deal is done.
If not, it goes again to a 3rd party valuation - The furthest away from this, revised valuation, pays fees.
I'd like to know what happens should one party reject the second valuation.
- Is the contract with AA void?
- Does the second valuation have to be accepted?
- Is there some sort of arbitration or does it go to another expert for evaluation?
Kind regards
Dr JJBrown
I sent this email about 5/6 times before I received a read receipt - Null response.....
Interestingly, I had a read receipt with 5mins for my AGM registration.
You only have to look at Biden, similar age to Bird, to see clearly that one just can't operate efficiently at such an age. Never mind running, Odin knows, how many companies....
CB please just retire FFS.....
agree Steve and I found the statement "Its gone over the markets head that we are producing gold at Fairbride" hardly surprising and rather self inflicted !
>> hardly surprising and rather self inflicted - Spot on!!.
He's moaning about that and yet does feck all PR - it's/he's an absolute joke to expect the market to somehow know what's happened just from an RNS. The only people that, really, read them are investors. What world does the man live in....?
It's an easy ride for him to blame the current markets when the company is doing feck all to promote assets that are actually generating income after years and years of dilution - A much bigger deal should have been made of Manica coming online.
The company could, easily, halve the salary of the CFO - Bin the, so called PR man, Alastair Ford, and get a CEO in who's actually willing to spend time on the company!
>>No-one here actually knows what's going to happen. - I don't think even Bird knows, he changes the narrative so often!
There have been so many L250.
I'm still pretty sure he has only met one of his deliverables since JN left. That was the update as I recall......
Perhaps he should be made to wear a badge for the entirety of the AGM - "I’ve not done my job"
I see the 'The decision to mine' method of triggering the AA agreement a risky hand to play, and one that better suits AA. If AA call our bluff on that then we have to find 20% of development costs. (lets say ~$100e6?!)
I don't think AA, should they be interested, will want any other company having any part of BR but they could certainly make life hard for xtract and we could end up with a real low ball offer.
Despite what Bird says, I don't feel we have 2Mt at Racecource, the grades just haven't matched the .44 av that AA had in their drill campaign . Maybe not the end of the world if we have something worth selling at, say, 1.5Mt, I image there will still be a number of companies will to buy the resource at that sort of magnitude.
The Geo's will know what we have by now, and I imagine they will have a good idea if the current RC resource can be increased in a meaningful way. I just hope Bird doesn't spend $$$ on another round of drilling with little increase in resource.
At some point, if the 2mt is not achievable, he just needs to man up and admit his initial statements were misleading. Let's hope we know where we are before the AGM!
To be fair, 'imminently' might not have been Birds chosen vocab.
Either way he has to declare near term..
>>AGM notices will announced imminently - 20 Jul '22
Poster Ref: Prickly
A4444 - he gave the excuse: ' the delay was caused by illness of the accountant who has since recovered.' during a telephone conversation with the BZT 'working group'.
If one assumes he will do All AGM's, as he is not a UK resident, with a few days of each other then it should be soon-ish.
Unless he finds another excuse to delay it!
I noted the 'commencing' word also L250.
Either it's a typo or, once again, Bird has been lying to his shareholders....
"Future exploration and development activities" - I hope you're better on due-diligence Bird if you're considering buying another project with our hard earned.
BTW A4444 - Did you hear back from CE?
