Hi T, Edging closer to results. these were a bargain at 1220 so pushed up to 1240 end of play.
Things don't always go as low as people hope, same with IAG, people expecting them to drive back to super lows, but if fundamentals are good, there is some intrinsic value.
I haven't given up on spike trading, still watching the patterns. Hopeful I will get back to a point soon when I can put into action again.
Hope you haven't been back in Tullow?, looks too volatile to me, unless you are very nimble.

2 weeks ago it would have been better to ask ..."WHY, is volume drying up" ...not, let's wait til volume returns.
I'm still convinced they will be back over 13 at some point, might be weeks, might be months. I'll just have to wait.

Hi T, I don't know why we do things against what we write in our own rulebooks. I think we forget that we can't actually predict the future. Goldman recommended 12.50 for OCDO the other day, that's why they are down around 1230-40 from high 12's.
I know I paid too much for my last lot, now, and with hindsight looking back over 6months of closing prices it should have been obvious. BUT, if they do get some good news at least they have the potential.
Sales of organic foods are up, of which OCDO offers a lot, so that's good.

The latest Kantar figures also show changing trends in the grocery sector. Ocado (OCDO.L) remains Britain’s fastest-growing grocer, based on sales in the 12 weeks to 27 January compared to a year earlier.

McKevitt said more than half of Ocado’s sales were in London and the south of England, but its quickest growth was in the north, with sales 17% higher than a year ago.

You're saying just trade yourself out of a hole, even if you have to do it 2000 times to make the loss. Assuming you get it right every day for a year?
I haven't said you can't use that method or that it is wrong. I'm just personally reluctant to tell someone to buy more of something that is going bad after my experience.

Not really, because you have lost part of the money you paid for them.
Picture this, you pay £7 for a share, buying 2000 of them, it drops to 1.60
Fast forward a year and the price is only 2.40
It doesn't matter how many more shares you bought at 1.60, you are never going to make the £14000 price you paid
