I'm sure the shipping Guru has the actual costs from SA to Baltimore worked out by the kilo :)

I am always suprised when i see 18 tonnes on a shipment as this is more like a 20 foot container rather than a 40 TEU.But i guess we deliver what has been ordered.

Rob 1967 a 40 foot container costs about $4k to ship from the UK to Boston Door to door. So if a container has 40 one tonne pallets double stacked it costs about $100 a tonne.

It's a cost but not significant when the product is $80 a kilo

So Q2 Prices will start off well.
