Yeh they could do that but that would stink and I haven’t seen them underwrite placings before, polar did the last one and took a chunk but it needs to be slightly more open. Synairgen are clearly doing roadshows and every event possible to try to beat the drum.

What would the sense be though in reality place what £20-£30m you’d say is what they may need? Or after feb take the company private for £40m…or get it shifted on to whoever/whatever they been working on.

The fact they done all the buying on the open market for over a year rather than approaching board to do a placing like you suggest to increase their holdings etc. suggests they won’t take that path

Polygon with their holding can say no to a lot and have a huge amount of sway and control over the board at Synairgen now. I posted a while back what holding the amount of shares they do mean.

I just don’t see how a fundraise in way of issue of shares would be allowed by polygon. They will veto it. Why would they have spent so long building up a massive stake of 28% to then dilute themselves and have potentially other instis getting a look in with day 5% - 10% holding to then be able to speak with board etc.

That’s what I been getting out. It be alternative funding or partnership/state backed trial. I’m absolutely intrigued how this would be played out. I took a hit like many here on results day. An offer of 30/50p I would love. I don’t think £2 would ever come again. But who knows. Waiting to see how it plays out.

Ben Wallace was voted minister of the year, rishi is not going to stab him in the back or create issue, especially after they both been over to N.Ireland. As i posted earlier with the document stating by end of 2022 - should be anytime this month now.

After rishi talking just now mentioning aprenterships and building industry and jobs, as well as growing/levelling up....i don't see Harl not getting this over the line.

Synairgen confirmed their attendance. Probably there as polygon (tfg) have jp Morgan on the trustee holdings of the 28%. They looking to meet with investors etc there. No buyout just yet

So they wanted it signed before end of 2022 it was just the labour minster that asked the questions and ben will be responding to them, then signing can happen. Could be any day now.

As price ticked up A trades kicked in a little. Feel like TFG are active still. those 25,000 and 50,000 used to be their calling card.

Given novacyt is up over 40% in French trading (that is what always leads the volume and pricing). Yous think Synairgen will have a good day tomorrow with covid on news everywhere. Was nt to buy for 30 mins in to close to Friday.

Yes. It was NT to buy into close. I posted how there had been 3 intraday auctions two were back to back. Strange goings on. I managed 13.5 buy for a couple k at 11.42 then the auctions started. That’s all I could get from there on in as didn’t want to buy in £500 blocks.

Well if we don’t see a tr1 from them in next few days then yes. If we do then it would be illogical that they have been buying on open market again to then dilute their holdings. With the given volume you’d expect it is then buying. Let’s see. Whenever we have seen wild swings like this it has been tfg (polygon)

Tfg won’t allow fundraise as would dilute their holding. They can veto this due to the say they have. With the volume over last day and half you can be quite confident it will be then who are sweeping up the shares. Tr1 after hours or Wednesday next week now. No way they wouldn’t have taken advantage of the low price

Was odd price action last 24 hours. Block trades. Strange pull back on known news. Guess that is what takes tfg over 29% and possibly to 30%. What price the takeover now. 18? 20? 25? Await the tr1
