Where did you find the information on the number of breathless patients excluded from the Pfizer pill trial cohorts? It would be helpful to all of it if you could post it here. Thank you.
Could someone upload the evidence that a Z score of +1.4 for futility analysis after 300 patients on the Sprinter trial was a benchmark to be achieved, or was actually achieved, or is implied to have been achieved.
If such evidence exists then I am sure many readers here would like to see it. It's the first I've heard of a Z score futility metric being applied to the Sprinter trial.
I received an email from Consilium on 8 October. It was a reply to a question I had asked on this subject pre the interim results announcement. In the email from Consilium they confirmed that a study of efficacy against the Delta variant and other variants was being conducted and that the results will be announced shortly.
In February the French health minister declared in a press conference that he is hopeful that good results will be reported in June 2021 in the French trial of inhaled interferon (nebulised extavia - interferon beta 1b). I have attached a link to a report issued and uploaded here a year ago. It is worth reading again from the middle section of the report entitled 'Initial Strategy of Care' detailing the remarkable recovery of 4 seriously ill covid patients treated with inhaled interferon beta 1b.
It is now four months later and no trial results have been released. I think it was in July that JoeyDiamond reported on this BB that the trial will not be completed until end of this August. Has anyone got an update on current status of this French trial ?

You are so right. None of us will ever see a share price performance to compare with what we are abut to see here in the next 12 months. Never in 36 years of investing have I ever seen such a gift as this one. If anyone thinks they will ever see an opportunity like this again during their lifetime then they are delusional.
Page 81 of the 270 page ACTIV 2 Protocol dated 29 June 2021 states that the trial may stop if after 300 patients dosed the investigational agent is as good as or better than the ACTIV2 Phase 3 comparator treatment (Regeneron).
Dear Kevinl1977
if you have 50,000 and sell them all at £6 then you would be a fool. These shares could go to £30 quite easily. The correct strategy is to only sell a certain percentage of your holding at any one time, to take some profit off the table. You will know when to sell some when you can't sleep for worrying. It is impossible to time the exit perfectly. However those that hold for the takeover/licencing agreement are the ones that will do best. So hold on to some and wait for that moment.
I am not thinking that when Fauci mentions an orally available drug he is dismissing SNG001. My comment is that Fauci is giving the impression that the best solution is a pill. If he were to talk about an inhaled treatment under examination and might be doing well in a trial, then he would create market mayhem like Castro did mid June. His slide showed immunomodulators and that is good enough. He is never going to mention an inhaled treatment doing well until it is announced to the market in a controlled manner. He has previously shown a slide referencing the sensitivity of commercial discussions.
