I imagine they'll release the earnings about an hour prior, give or take.

I use a number of brokers (TD, Fidelity, E*Trade, IBKR) but primarily TD and IBKR. I have by far most of my Dough with IBKR (Interactive Brokers). Check them out, they've offices all over the world, and they allow me to trade most anything, anywhere. Rather sophisticated trading platform, they are very hands off, it's up to you to figure it out, etc. I really like them, and am still figuring things out after being with them for 6 years this January.

To all longs: I want to wish all of us the very best of luck tomorrow. I'll be up in the middle of the night to catch the earnings and watch the stock's reaction. Fingers crossed we get what we want from this past quarter and then with the all important guidance.

Ha...I just looked. I bought my first tranche of PERI two years and one day ago, on 7 November, 2019.

I did a bunch of homework on them before I started to buy, and I kept on buying and buying and buying...and I effing love it.

I've been in TRMR since before it was blinkx (OK, only part of what is now TRMR was originally blinkx...a basically non-existent part these days). I've bought what is for me a boatload of TRMR ADR units over the past few months, with an average price of $18.808, so I am barely above water. Fingers crossed it works out.

I've been deep in PERI for almost two years. Mgt very solid. Very. I feel relatively safe with their approach and conservative stewardship of the balance sheet.

As of now, I strongly feel TRMR is a better relative value, at these levels, between PERI and TRMR. That was not always the case, and I earlier felt PERI was both a safer bet and a better value, or so I believed.

So far they're both working out fabulously. I am not so arrogant as to believe I know which ad tech is going to outperform all the others, which is why I own what is for me a rather substantial basket of several.

I hadn't noticed until now...TTD crushed it.

I only have a smattering of TTD. I obviously wish I had a lot more, instead I put too much Dough into the dog Acuity Ads. You can't win 'em all.

Crazy trading during my overnight hours.

I was watching on and off overnight. Head scratcher. Effing ridiculous moves on no news...perhaps in sympathy with MGNI stating supply chain issues? I don't know...I don't care...none of it matters if the move's on no news. Then again, the supply chain issues are news, most likely only a short term blip.

I do, however, care about 11 November. I care a great deal about the news we'll receive then.

I couldn't help myself and put a GTC limit order in at $16.97 for more ADR units. The value of the stock in London traded as low as $16.63 in ADR (USD obviously) terms, but there was no ADR liquidity and my order did not fill...at least not yet. I'll cancel that order before we open on 11 November, because if it trades down there after news is released we'll most likely be in for a long winter.

Along with many millions of investors ,the tech bubble burst was a major killer for me as well. So was the real estate bubble bursting in 2007-2008. That's what I do for my real "job": I have a project I am developing in Idaho. I got caught in the middle of the process during the real estate bust, and had to sell 25% of my company to my now partners in order to survive. I am very happy did what it took to stay afloat, but it was brutal at the time.

This summer was a major winner, selling out phase one in 93 days. We'd projected it'd take us two years to sell phase one. I originally bought the property (172 acres, ca 70 hectares) in September of 1995. This "overnight success" took 26 effing years.

Know what I know now, would I do it again? No way. Not worth it.

That being said, I, too, couldn't help acting on my very wide greedy streak, feeling I was being opportunistic a few minutes ago.

I just picked up another 500 TRMR ADR units at $17.97. (I guess I wasn’t done buying TRMR after all.)

I am breaking my own rules, and I know better, because I’ve no idea how the earnings report is going to play out on 11 November. Especially after the mediocre MGNI earnings report, guidance and conference call (supply train excuses).

But, this was a risk I am willing to take, because I know we’re in the right sector, and I believe we’ll be fine in the long run. (I know, the market doesn't care what I believe.)

I've learned so many hard lessons I lost count.

The biggest lesson of all which I've learned is the simple fact that nobody knows what tomorrow may bring. I've said this here, many times, and I'll say it again:

No matter how strongly I believe something's going to happen, regardless of how positive and certain I am of an outcome, regardless of my "gut feelings" about something happening, the market doesn't give a krap about how I feel or what I believe. The market's going to do what the market's going to do, no matter how "irrational" it appears to me.

Nobody knows what tomorrow may bring.

My overnight success has taken me 45 years as an adult to achieve (I am 66).

I've gone nearly broke 4 times. Good thing is I never thought I was nearly broke, and sure as eff didn't act as though I was. I just kept getting up off the floor, dusted myself off, and went back at it. Albeit a little bit wiser each time.

Fingers crossed I hang onto it this time, eh? It really helps that I no longer chase young chicks, but only because I aged out. I am now, officially, grandpa to the cute little things I find appealing. That saves me a ton of Money, time and hangovers.

In spite of today, I am up 7 figures (USD) in MGNI, and a lot more than that in PERI, and 368,691 GBP in my TRMR in London.

While today most likely doesn't matter in the scheme of things, I do not like seeing it when it's happening.

I had my final final final final GTC limit order in TRMR ADRs for 500 ADR units execute at $18.60 today. My TRMR units are down about $4,200 US. Fingers crossed we don't need to use the supply chain excuse come 11 November . If we do, I am afraid it's going to be a long winter.

Here's how it works over here. Lawyers, whether on an hourly or contingency basis, file frivolous suits all the time. Constantly. The opposing side will do a cost benefit analysis, and more often than not, they settle, just to make the frivolous suit (also known as a nuisance suit) go way. Many dirtbag lawyers only file a suit with full intention of settling for far less than the original suit.

I have a bit of a clue about lawyers. I owned and ran a legal publishing business in Seattle for 10 years. I sold to LexisNexis, a subsidiary of Reed Elsevier (Dutch-Anglo biz of which you've no doubt heard) in 2000. I had around 4,000 lawyers as clients. I spoke to lawyers each and every day. BTW, most of them hate their jobs.

Regarding your first paragraph: you are wrong. Many US lawyers do not act in their client's best interest. They get paid by the hour, and they don't give a rat's rear, except to get paid.

I don't care about the case involving TRMR and Alphonso. It's nothing but white noise in my book.

I do, however, care about 11 November. A lot.
