A private equity firm backed by LVMH and the family office of its
founder is in conversations about buying a stake in the company that
owns Bicester Village.
L Catterton has held talks with Hammerson, which is selling a 40%
stake in Value Retail for £1B to £1.2B, React News reported. Not sure if any update on this?

Since H1 2023, Lighthouse has disposed of c. 203 million Hammerson shares at an average price of 27 GBP pence per
share, raising the equivalent of c. EUR 63 million in cash. These proceeds are intended to be reinvested in yield-accretive
retail investments in Iberia.
Lighthouse's holding in Hammerson has reduced from 22.05% to 17.98%. Following the disposal of Hammerson shares
Lighthouse's indicative LTV is 15.1%.
No idea who bought HMN shares....my guess and only a guess is Simon Group ?
I RC sorry if I missed something in the thread but Lighthouse Reit has been unwinding their position in HMSO. Sold according to official reports around 98m last week. The buyer will be of interest though...maybe SPG?
On a different tack disappointing to see Resilient exiting / and now LTE selling down as not happy with HMSO's dividend policy of only distributing 60-70 % of annual adjusted earnings. Unattractive relative to HMSO's peers.
Million dollar question Didgy. Hopefully some positives from the presentation tomorrow. Their major shareholder LTE still smarting regarding the dividend policy. They will be very grumpy if HMSO takes the ultra-prudent route and defers again.
The sale of Croydon development has been concluded but zero press or sens release. Understandably they may not require to issue a Sens but with the sensitivities surrounding the HMSO share price and the AGM next week, I would think it prudent to let shareholders know.

The malls they run doing great but questions are being asked regarding their HMSO stake. Want the Value Retail sold off / Development pipeline resized and focus on the malls some of which are the best in the world. Administrative costs have to be reduced.
