If you bought 1000 shares at 1p (£10) and and 1000 shares later at 2p (£20) your average is 1.5p with a holding worth £30.

If the share price was 1.5p you would still have your £30
If the share price dropped to .75 it would be worth £15
If it went to 3p it would be worth £60

I bought some shares at 3.5p (not a good decision) and have bought more sub 1p so when the share price is at 1.1p (fingers crossed) I will be at break even (whoooo)

Sorry same example but should be £10 and £5 not £100 and £50.

If the share price was 1.5p you would still have your £150
If the share price dropped to .75 it would be worth £75.
If it went to 3p it would be worth £300

My average was 3.5p until recently. Now 1.1p
