The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
I have invested in both - CWR is more promising and early to fruition than AFC. Mr Bond is full of Jam tomorrow.
Is SEE part of the OEMs in India? India has overtaken Japan in terms of car market size. With an increasing road infrastructure, the market is only going to grow.

I agree.
I sold a couple of days ago to maximise the opportunity for my CGT. I shudder with horror to think what would have happened if I would have continued to hold.
AIM is a casino - if we can't trust the outputs from RNS', what can we trust?
Feel sorry for those nurturing losses - particularly if you have bought recently.
At least we appear to be moving from an R&D culture to a commercial venture finally!!
There appears to be enough in the kitty to allow us to do that.
Just heard an interview with a high energy user on WATO. They are bemoaning the fact that there is no clarity from the govt on energy rationing and no sense to Liz Truss' 'promise' to not ration. [She is going to be a disaster if elected by the Tory membership]
I was left wondering why isn't AFC seeking out such captive, large capacity users of energy who can have reassurance of energy supplies so that they can effectively go off-grid? If AB/AFC is reading this, please listen to WATO of today.
Not sure what to make of this:

CF Industries said it would temporarily halt ammonia production at Billingham as the price of natural gas, the key feedstock, has more than doubled to record levels, making it uneconomical to continue production."
What are the 'other' non-gas sources of ammonia? AFC depend on cracked ammonia but I am not sure where they source it from?
ALL journalists have now left Fleet Street.
The last ones left in 2016!

I bought in last week at 268p.
If this drops any further, I am going to buy some more for the following reasons:
1. Good financial position. I can forgo the divi in favour of a higher sp
2. Directors have bought recently at a higher price than me from the open market - what do they know that I don't? (lots, obv)
3. Revenues have grown since the Marley acquisition
4. The industry that they operate in is understandably reliant on consumer sentiment - but landscaping is not going to disappear overnight.
I bought Barratts at 100 when the market was spooked and have done well at their current sp. I hope MSLH also proves to be a resilient investment in the longer term.
I will certainly be topping up if the sp falls any further.
and not before time.

The relevant bit for me was this: West London faces new homes ban as electricity grid hits capacity
And this was due to:

In its note, the GLA said pressure on the grid in west London has been particularly acute because a number of data centres have been built nearby in recent years, taking advantage of fibre optic cables that run along the M4 corridor, before crossing the Atlantic.
According to the GLA, “data centres use large quantities of electricity, the equivalent of towns or small cities, to power servers and ensure resilience in service”.
Considering National Grid have commissioned MACE, there's some hope for good news on AFC supplying to data centres!
I don't understand why AB and AFC are not targeting the Indian market - the largest market in size for two, three and four wheelers.

If anything, AFC can also sell to Indian households where there is irregular electricity.
After today's RNS - is there a bid brewing?
Vascular - the tone of your posts suggests you work for / on behalf of the company?
Classically ramping up the stock with no evidence to support your assertion.
Does this mean our product becomes redundant soon? (pardon my ignorance of the tech!)
Saw the website - not sure how they manage to track the device or do they have a GPS tracker in which case how can it work indoors?
Puzzled....
Any update on the court case with Maxwell Technologies?
I have been thinking long and hard about this - particularly because those who had invested at the top of the valuations would be sitting on a major loss.
Could it be the case, that in lockdown with nothing much to do but with a bouyant stock market lots of people were chasing 'green' stocks and have now got their fingers burnt? We also saw the same phenomenon with house prices with house price inflation picking up shortly after the Chancellor announced a COVID support package?
Keen to know others' views.
I continue to remain invested in all the three companies but my profits have substantially reduced!
For some time, as the covid threat lifted, I was glad at one level (that covid is less of a threat) but also sad at another level (when will KMK show its tech prowess?!).
Now, we are starting to go back to Square One and still no sign of that detector!!
I just topped up!
Does this mean that existing shareholders don't get to buy in at the price that Primary Bid customers can? Primary Bid won't allow me to buy into my ISA.
Wish this chap buys us out for a hefty premium
