Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Will have to see who they will be participating their next target with and the arrangement they can conclude.
Personally I can see Innis going to PRD on a successful first stage trial, I can’t see them investing cash into a second stage project to then hand 50% of the profit to a third party... they’ll end up investing all their generated cash flow.
It’s a heavily produced field that’s experienced an extensive water flood hence why it’s ideal for CO2. I believe the opportunities for CERP are limited on this field but like a glove for PRD.
Wasn’t it said that VSA would compile a new research note on completion of a successful result from Saffron. I guess a new share price target too. The probabilities and confidence on geophysicist reports should also improve along with prospect probabilities.
Is that calculated on the estimated $80m MPV for Saffron?
A couple of dates for the diary..
‘As part of agreement with Predator, Predator has the right until to purchase FRAM for US$4.2m. In conjunction with the extension of the Inniss Trinity IPSC and recognising the timeline of the CO2 Pilot Project, the date by which Predator can elect to purchase FRAM has been extended to 30 September 2020 (or 30 June 2020 should the CO2 pilot project not progress beyond its first phase).‘
‘Columbus, the oil and gas producer and explorer with operations in Trinidad and Suriname, is pleased to confirm an extension to the term of the Goudron Incremental Production Service Contract ("IPSC") to 31 March 2020, allowing time for the Company and Heritage to negotiate a longer term extension.‘
I think you’ll find PRD are covering the operational costs of these wells, including the previous work overs.
Happily to be proved wrong with previous RNAs from CERP or PRD.
I don’t think the onshore bid round has ever completed?
Block G is almost right next door I believe. I wouldn’t want to see free info given away... not to competitors anyhow.
The RNS does indicate that well conditions effected the logging tools?
‘The Company believes that each of these horizons are the tops of larger sand packages. The objective of these tests is to prove an oil filled reservoir. If this objective is met, the Company intends to perforate the larger sand packages to maximise water free production.’
Only testing will be conclusive. ???????
Not a hope of it being water driven then? I was under the assumption that it’s not been possible to identify the difference between oil (depending on gas to oil ratio) and fresh water on the sigma logs but is possible to identify gas bearing sections with the probabilities being calculated inconclusive with the sand package identified.
Would this indicate this is not a gas cap reservoir or a solution driven reservoir?
If it’s an oil reservoir that is.
If saffron proves to be successful I’d be up for skipping the Clove well and jumping straight to the 20mbbl prospect.
In my spare time I like to go fishing :)
Looks like Shroders purchased the issued equity of 1.75m around 30 December 2019.
Pure speculation though :)
The clue would be on who sold.
Schroders plc.

It would be good to see how accurate all the previous data gathered to identify the saffron prospect re: FTG, 3D, 2D etc etc has been and what impact it has on all other prospects.
There’s a lot of ‘knowledge’ to cross reference their findings.
British Oilfields Trinidad Limited (UBOT)
which eventually became the Shell company after taking over the Parry lands prolific discovery’s and which later discovered the Soldado field are areas Not too far away.
Well the selling has eliminated a quick trade and provided an opportunity for anyone who trusts and believes in the BOD.
Yeah seen that :)
Gotta find a sustainable use of CO2 to not only cut the volumes but also sustain levels too (at some point).
Current atmospheric levels are at 0.0045% the deepest deep freeze saw levels at 0.002% which reduced the human population to the 1000s. It’s a very complex and fragile issue to deal with.
Now if they were smart, they’d use the energy produced from hydrogen to reverse CO2 back to Oxygen.
