The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Is it the current inflationary / cost of living crisis and stock market gitters
or
Is it th waiting game of the pending USA Mediation
or
Is it the double jobbing and Lack of leadership from top Management,
that's causing the continual decrease in share price.
Shareholders are experiencing a deficit in hope or optimism for the future
Any informed reassurances would be most welcome, dare I say deserved, at present
Can anyone provide hard information that links recent share price increase to any real potential deals / agreements , that are or maybe on the cards
Am a long termer suffering holder here, that bought high, and would love see some positives here , after so many years of drift
Surely at these days, greatly reduced share price , Flutter itself must now be in the Parade ring, as a potential Runner, for a Take over Target.
The only Questions are who is Large Enough to do the job and What Value / Share Price would be marked on the Card.
It maybe the reason top executives have been filling their pockets recently, buying shares and raising their salaries, all in anticipation of such a take over bid
The USA market potential is the huge attraction for such a transaction
Anyone agree ?
Can we expect irish Ferries to take over part or all of the operation of routes / responsibilities of re hiring same staff etc,
Realise its been a loss maker for p n o but ICG would need subsidies with all sorts of port access rights from Westminister to ensure continuity of UK trade both inwards and outwards. After a specific trial period and after a costs analysis , ICG could either take it on Full time or withdraw to its original format
Any views ?
If eventually the go ahead is given might it be for
A - gas only
If so, what would the estimated possible value per share be on projected recoverable assets
B- might Logp also become a takeover target, with PVR an obvious aquirer
Have been in here for many years , having lately averaged down to 10 cents per share, and am now hoping at least to break even, or a modest be even better, if possible
Do think that Mr Ryan will approve the development, as the damaging footprint of imports are far more damaging than that of a local gas field
This should be sufficient grounds for placating his followers
1- Have 888 actually paid for and do they now control Wm Hill
2- if so, what's and Why is the reason for raising the 500m, in what is a modest amount in this type of business
3- what is the actual shareholder dividend declared, if any at all
4- realise share price under pressure for all the obvious reasons but do the smart guys out there ever see it getting back to the good old days ?
( just few months back )
Silly question but wonder what's a realistic share price target
Know there's several optionsc among which is selling our % share or second query could we realistically fund / be a junior partner in this Limerick prospect
Don't consider gold an asset because of probable local objections and populist political stirrings by one party in particular
Messers Martin Coveney and Mcgraw are senior national Political figures, all based in Cork
Their interest and passion for sustainable long term local industries will win the day in spite of any Green Party contrariness
Looks like EU will classify Gas exploration as environmentally acceptable
Hope and expect the PVR board are actively working the political angles, behind the scenes !!
Is there any Guess-timate as to what realistic effect would be on the share value if gas production was licenced and flowed
Would volumes be in place for a long term supply
and how would long term be defined
Could the Irish Govermnent insist on a maximum charge for the supply applicable to the home market , as part of the conditions for approval
Queries a bit scattered I know
Maybe some one knows !!!
Maybe silly enquiries but
1
Could Fluter still float the Sisal IPO which was planned by Sisal, when takeover complete
2
Is it known how advanced the Sisal bid is to run the UK Lottery
and ( B)
How profitable is the UK lottery to a prospective purchaser
Dv
So Just how bad have the stone park results been I wonder
Have group 11 made any specific
Comments on its viability and /or whether it falls within their future plans
Suppose we cannot wait an eternity if it has been its long fingered
So whether it's good news or bad new for the company , shareholders deserve to be informed
Should We not be a future participant in partnership with Co Owners / developers of this ' jewel '
Why are we always guessing the sale value of our shareholding rather than concentrating on profiting from its its future production returns
Meantime the gold dream should be parked or sold on, as their prospects of these ever becoming active , are very slim indeed
Surely the recent successfull community protestations in both Donegal and Tyrone against digging out the local proven Gold discoveries does not auger well for Arkles future plans , shareholders hopes and expectations
It's a mistake if management don't prepare and consult fully , well in advance of proposed works , with all local farming, environmental and local government representatives
Or if prijects deemed pointless, would it be better not to waste time and funding on these prospects and maybe concentrate on the Zinc resourses already licenced and active in production?
Shareholders would have though
that Mr Jackson had enough to do in managing Flutter rather than double jobbing with Deliveroo
Ours is a rapididly changing industry, now under so many pressures that we need a full time Manager at the wheel
Mr Jackson should review his acceptance of new appointment immediately
Just new to investing here and Wondering what if any effect does yesterday's ruling have for shareholders
Why also , if Flutter is bringing Fan Duel to USA market, are they only releasing 5 %or 7% of the the equity
