I mean in this age of e communication social media etc. just how difficult can it be for our company directors to give out a wee bit of information.....good or bad happy or sad....even merry christmas, but please communicate.
Btw, the 500,000 shown as a sell this morning was a buy.
Tightly held share....could multi-bag very quickly from these very low levels as not many sellers ....maybe this is their time?
All received with ii....bought a few more in the hope that a deal can be struck,as there must be some cash left in the amc shell?
Dont think this is a good enough proposal and could be "out of the frying pan....into the fire". Amur long term holders deserve better and if it isnt forthcoming wind up and pay out whats left as a second div.
Thanks for the ii info ....mine are all in ii isas also so hopefully the div. will appear without any more technicalities. Here endeth (almost) the first amur saga...will definitely hold for the next one , or the wind up, theres always a "ruma" with "amur".
Seems to be some serious buying this morning what could be afoot?
Bought and sold many times at 3p,8p,10p20p etc. and even some at 40p but always held on for the big one which I thought would come.Certainly not a disaster financially but a disappointing end for the "amur dream".
Wish I shared your confidence; but here`s hoping . Amur has been one long long wait since my original buy at 1p 15 or more years ago!
Am I right in assuming that if all my amur shares are in an isa (as mine are) then it will make no difference whether the 1.8p is a div or r.o.c.? My main worry is that we actually receive this long awaited payment in the first place.
Amc vote should come up as a corporate action on your a/c .The last time it was ok but possibly a few days later than some others, but you will get to vote ok. (for or against is a different question??)
Looks like the buyers are gambling on having enough shares to swing the vote on this rubbish offer....why would anyone sell them their shares for less than 1.8p even if you wish to accept the offer? The money being talked about here is peanuts in the world of mining and energy and surely another bid cant be ruled out.
Who is prepared to sell at around 1p, when their shares are obviously being accumulated for a reason and that reason wont be to lose money??!!
why would anyone with a significant holding sell at todays price......if someone wants your shares they have to pay for them .
My thanks also to all who attended and asked the very relevant questions . As a very LTH I have been struggling to make sense of Amur for years but always hopeful of at least a small profit on my investment av of around 5p.....bearing in mind we were sold an asset worth c50p many years ago I certainly dont think we need a "fire"sale at this moment....well done in voting down the resolution.
I will also vote this proposal down, it is a terrible return of our money for an investment of real significant value ,
and the board have to come up with at least an immediate one off ?p per share payment or walk away.
been silent for many years also; was all the hype about amur just a ruma?
wow..imagine the prospects for a small company that discovered it had a massive amount of nickel waiting for a buyer....in fact I think there used to be one years ago....ah maybe just imagining things again sorry!
would think the sp needs to be a lot higher yet in the event of a t/0.
