Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The objective of a shareholder is to make money, so at the moment most Arc shareholders are underwater and make up their own minds if they expect the sp to improve .
Whereas the objective of a troll can only be to damage a company's SP or ruin the company entirely. But in either of the troll scenarios their only tangible gain (I can see) is to shout at faceless names on a bb (that most in this world have never heard of) and say "I told you so".
Someone please tell me there is more to it than that, and their lives are really not that shallow..!
So with your negative take and worst possible scenario approach to Arc shares AC, what are your thoughts on the value of J99s recent purchases and it's effect on the rest of his holding as the SP rises ?
And on the Swiss Cheese theme which seems entirely appropriate as Zambia has been labelled by many as the "Switzerland of Africa" (a point previously lost by many here as it's meaning is "peaceful and profitable") and so a thought "sprinz" to mind that as "Gruyer"ling as this journey has seemed "Emmental"ly sure (and AAL through the JV have con"curd") the "wey" forward is now clearly defined and as the drills flow the assets will mature, and as it "appenzeller" the journey would have been less interesting but saner without you.
"Must be gutted by John's words" My old China ? Not in the least. I didn't believe a word from his mouth when he was the laziest Nomad any company had ever employed, and I sent a letter of complaint to Spangle when he admitted to trading ARCM on a previous POX podcast. Now with his "loss of the Arc account" he has reacted true to type as a bitter "old woman scorned".
I am in the process of sending a copy of his bitter and hypocritical interview to every CEO on Spangles client list. With a message saying "If you sack him be prepared for recriminations, and if you keep him be aware he trades " I'm sure his partners are fine with it !
Michu. Me a mouthpiece ? Not knowingly as I have intentionally not posted unverified information several times Sharing information, insight and research (for those that don't have contact) was my aim, but seems to be a problem for some, as soon as we have a hiccup. Not something that needs to be worried about in future. There has been a couple of errors on bb's this week and some info I could have shared, but as we enter a busy period in the companies journey you can all rely on embittered trolls for a balanced and honest perspective. Good luck !
"(and I have subsequently heard there were unconfirmed rumours we were already not paying all our bills in Zambia)!!!" Did you write for the News of The World as well- What expenses ?
We're not only not paying our bills, we're not paying the bills that we've not paid, and pay no attention to the unpaid bills as we're not paying them. No way ! 🚮🚮
Following a couple of mail exchanges the following is the nuts and bolts. And it seems one thing that the BoD and shareholders are all agreed on is that we all wish raises weren't necessary and certainly wish this one could have been done at a higher sp. but circumstance and timing dictates, and actions like these are intended to, and should be accretive IMO.
1. A company with no revenue could not have "no raise" as a default position.
2.Further Zambian targets are now attainable (the licenses are sought after by a major operator)
3. Sitting around waiting for Anglo is not a strategy, it’s lazy and reflective of a lifestyle company. When we had a chance to access these very desirable tenements we had to go for it hence the raise.
4.A number of retail investors took part in the ABB (placing), they contacted the broker directly
5.We intend to do what we did with the first Zambian acquisition, certainly very exciting times ahead.
Could I ask Holders not to share the information above with trolls😜 as they will claim "insider information" or "lies" both of which it is certainly not, just a sharing of information to put a bit of flesh on the bones behind some of the reasons for the raise. GLA
If you have just worked out the BoD salaries @coffee you are well latte,a nd if nothing is achieved here then the salaries will have been bad value for money,if however we now accelerate then no-one will give a toss what the BoD are paid. To say that they have "helped destroy the s.p. value" is a coffee cup half empty view as others could argue " from a cup half full" perspective, that they have taken action to stop it's further erosion whilst securing another asset that serious competitors were after whilst ensuring that we have enough funds to take us up comfortably to the JV $8m payment .
"Digesting the placing newsToday 10:38 Lantier
1. Over £4m raised. Together with the annual JV payments from Anglo, liquidity is therefore assured for the foreseeable future. Once the warrants are exercised, that will create a further up to £6.6m cash inflow.
2. Management have participated in a meaningful fashion. Their interests are therefore aligned with shareholders.
3. The placing was conducted at an artificially low price because of a forced seller. No fault of management. It's up to individuals whether they see the current SP as a threat or an opportunity.
4. The forced seller will now be cleaned up. The announcement of their exit is a near-term potential + catalyst.
5. Drilling season is about to begin in Zambia. That was and is why everyone should be involved here.
In summary the thesis has not changed between 4.5p and 1.8p, except that liquidity is far higher and management have an even bigger commitment. Roll on this year's drilling season."
He was on here slating a holder for not knowing the difference between a union and a pension fund and now he is an expert but fails to understand the "forced selling" and slates others for using the term correctly. Stating me saying "no placing" when what I said (incorrectly) was not at these levels. But he retains oodles of "credibolity" .Really tickled me, thank you Donkey 🤣😜
@Eloro-what an absolute classy charmer. I'm still here, a small hiccup today, but fundamentals improved. Am I defensive to trolls yes, do have a lovely peaceful rest.
I wish my average was at today's price ,it isn't,. Am I concerned re the future not one bit.
I also expected a placing at a higher rate, but it seems BoD and some investors have taken advantage of the Swedes sell off ,the current sp is just above the placing so anyone bothered about "missing out" need only to look at the RNS wording "new licenses" "share buy back" so the only thing is the warrants that you would not be getting by buying here-tomorrow a.m. will be interesting !
