I didn’t ramp once last week and quietly kept myself to myself for a nice triple bagger. AIM is all about the “quadruple down” at the right moment. Had 3 good cycles with CAP and only one bad one. Leaving with an overall 250% on £20k initial investment. If you can’t make money on AIM then maybe it is not for you. Everyone on this board knows just how risky it is and often win or lose appears to be based on a simple flick of a coin. Good luck to everyone still in. I kept £1k in just to enjoy the final ride. Exciting times!.......and I think it’s the people here with no skin in the game and those touting 10p that are the real culprits!
Two negative posts already. The market disagrees with you .......and so does common sense. CAP announced their financial position months ago. Yesterday was an update citing (positively) that funds would be found to ensure long term survival and that they may come from a variety of sources / options. The business has orders but delays on the customer side, means CAP needs some cash to bridge the gap. Hence this is an easy sell to a potential investor.
Will more than likely be a big customer (truck manufacturer) or has customers waiting in the wings. 2p easily by tomorrow and could go much much higher.
Get in while you can. I tried yesterday to make a £2k buy and was locked out. As we can see people are stocking up at just over £1k a time to not hike the price.
Not the rise I expected but momentum for tomorrow. I don't think the news has filtered out yet. Could go crazy at any minute this one.
In response to this, a number of parties have expressed interest in acquiring all or part of the company.
Clean Air Power Ltd on Wednesday said it is running the rule over expressions of interest it has received from potential suitors, following the strategic review it kicked off in June
I am a bit biased as I am invested but the bottom line is we are waiting around for a big order. It could be one week or one year. If it appears next week then its 4p+ and beyond; if it takes more than a couple of months then its sub 1.4 and lower.
They had best pull their fingers out over the next couple of months. The only thing to do now is sit tight and ride it out. A lot can change for the better here and on the plus side; not much worse can happen. I have to admit though I thought they would have sorted some more cash coming in by now via some kind of sales avenue. The optimist in me can only presume its round the corner.
Not a complete nightmare as we knew most of this already. The aim always was to end 2015 strongly and to do this it was always going to look at its funding. That was why it was down to sub 2p in the first place.
Looking at the trades someone is building a position under the radar. With this share you can't buy £5k chunks in one go or else the spread goes crazy. Someone over the past 3 days has been buying £475 - 1,500 orders and not rocking the boat too much. Would love to know if it is someone on here. Sneaky but shows great patience.
Of all the news this one really is a winner for CAP. We know CAP is strong in the US at the moment. Still got my fingers crossed for next week.
I will admit that it has been painfully slow and the dip to some extent has been deserved. The company however is worth a lot more (even with the lack of news) and judging by todays buys we still have the volume. I personally think you would have to be mad to sell at these prices. This is the only stock I own that could triple in a couple of days......that alone is worth the buzz of holding this one. What a great day that will be !
Someone is getting their business done early this morning! A punt for next week. Lets hope it pays off
If CAP have done this properly, you usually only recruit specialist roles once you have a guarantee of the money coming in. In the mean time you act bigger than you actually are using some smoke and mirrors so to gain confidence from clients. I have topped up twice today on the back of this.
Hi Rob. Don't suppose you can paste the story on here?. Can't access the link without a password. Done a quick Goole but cant see anything. If this is going ahead then it is surely a good sign an order has come in.
Just to balance the books on here. I 100% don't think "WE" are in "Terminal Decline". "WE" (as in those that actually hold CAP) are very well placed to see a great return. Anyone that has followed this story can vouch for that.
Where did you get the info on senior mgt are deferring their salaries in favour of shares....has there been a more recent update on this? I would not be too worried if this was the case as this is how most start-ups operate anyway. It provides a great incentive to get the orders in. To some it looks desperate but to others it's smart business sense. If they succeed then they will be worth at least 5x what they got them at so win win for everyone.
I feel next week is our week. Contracts take a good 4-6 weeks to draw up so I hope we begin to see some orders in the next 2-4 weeks.
more like 6p; but I guess all we have to do is wait to see who is closest :-)
