Yes you would think now the price is agreed for newcrest , newmont would want to big everything up , the only exception would be is hav if they wanted to buy the remaining 30% but then again if they wanted to sell it , it all gets very confusing

I don’t believe newmont will want ggp as a jv partner , i think they could buy ggp as a whole and then have complete control of hav and an explorer with vast experience for the future , using the top team to run telfer along with the other finds , not sure what they would pay per share though

I would expect a quick result re newmonts decision to buy newcrest after may 11th as surely other bidders could come in with offers after the exclusivity runs out
