Thanks guys, £43,000 down here :0(, thought this would be a more of a steady Eddie in an uncertain world. Sentimental meant is not good. Strange how in May Rupert Hargreaves was saying ‘buy’ on fool, and now don’t touch it whilst no new figures are really out there. Yes, there is competition but if you are one of the biggest payers in the world. Is that any different news?
I rarely post, but I watch a lot and trade in the background. I find your posts really interesting and informative JMO. Can I ask you why a gap is often ‘filled’ I understand you post below, but not why the ‘filling’ happens, or often happens. Made a nice 5k profit on this weeks buy at 549 and sell at 562,5 :0)
Just read the UK CMA RNS again, although the CMA has said a decision by mighnight tonight, it's up to the Business sectretary to then decide if a full review is needed. So, we may not hear anything first this Friday morning. And I guess he is busy trying to get re-elected too.
Yep, those were mine
I have been selling this to invest elsewhere. Sold about £12,000 worth today in tranches or around £3000 through HL, and none of them are showing. I sold around £8000 last week, and not all them showed up either. Considering there appears to be little action, HL were happy to buy them. Last week they were not.
I know the feeling billyboy. I sold the £7500 ish in my isa with a 1200loss this afternoon. That's my ready money really. My Sipp is on a £10000 loss. But that can stay and wait. I rue the day when it was around 25p, just before the offer was made. I even got a sell price and hovered over the sell button. What can you do! Atvthe start of last year I got glencore at 80p and sold after 10% gain. I hold the wrong ones! Lol
I understand the RNS, but does this mean the time table of suspension of shares does not happen? Do these just keep trading now, until these regulatory issues are clarified?
A few times over the last few days people have said (or implied) that now an offer is in, there is 5 day period for a second bidder to put in a bid. Maybe I have Misunderstood what people have said, I have tried to find info about counter bids to understand it, but can't find anything. Is there a time limit for any second bidder to make there intentions known (at this stage of this T/O)?
If we get a rate cut tomorrow? Or if the rate remains unchanged. Which will be better for an immediate rise in the share price? Any views?
