It seems to be slowly seeping in that oil and gas are still the future. Growing population is making the renewable fuel gap even wider. No where near outing fossil fuels and quite frankly, never will be! Would be great to make the £ milestone in the next couple of weeks. You would think by the end of the month we should have some news on jv/farm out etc. I think we can all say with a fair amount of confidence that by this time next year we’ll be £s’ per share as apposed to pence!

I really can’t see how the world as we know it will or could function without gas, coal and oil. India alone have 1.2 billion people and 80% of their energy is coal, China 2 billion. The impact on people’s materialistic lives and day to day life functions would be massively impacted. We have people sitting on motorways because people’s houses aren’t insulated. Imagine what people would be doing if power wasn’t readily available and the economy couldn’t grow. To me the world is reliant on these fuels and we cannot live as we know it without them with the population of the world as it is! And growing!

About 700k after the bell by the look of it. Oil is precious and needed by all. The company is producing so relax, it takes time. The is an investment as far as I’m concerned. Have a good weekend.

If it was very valuable and viable I don’t think the share price this time last year would of been that low. They need to focus on peregrine, Umiat and icewine. Cash raise I think is important so that they have options with all of this as apposed to being held to ransom and giving away ownership %’s

Have we not known this all along? Last rns states that we are trying to unlock its potential! Pretty clear to me that perhaps it can or perhaps they’ll go elsewhere on the lease. I don’t think Yukon has ever really been at the forefront of any valuation in terms of where this could go. Have a good weekend

That would be awesome. They did just spend 9 billion or so with shell to be fair. Perhaps they put that money into something that is producing revenue straight away. Leaving the willow asset until maybe the government want it as much as ConocoPhillips do.

My article states Umiat leases are state owned along with the airfield. Perhaps it’s wrong

Loads of info on linc and pipeline. With your calculations of a billion it’s still a lot cheaper than ConocoPhillips estimate of 8 billion. Umiat has an air strip already, it’s state land and I believe linc estimated 200 million for the pipeline. Anyway who knows, one day we’ll see. Knowing that 88 is hype, sentiment and potential, why are you still pursuing this nonsense

Perhaps this makes Umiat the missing piece of the jigsaw. I’m sure you’re aware that ConocoPhillips did actually try to acquire peregrine before 88 did!
