Matt I think that is more likely than not. With some decent news I would as a shareholder be open to more investment for existing holders at a favourable price.

Indeed Mick. And on the subject of that ROB who has been so fouly abused since when is it not to be expected that a seasoned professional investor doesn’t manage his risk profile. If not then why would you value his view ? . I may be mistaken and please forgive me if I am but recall him honestly describing selling out his complete holding publicly in another company which subsequently rose significantly before politics and bad governance caused issues. BTW Donal yes you can see a pressure valve on that high end well head. No idea what it might imply but of course it would certainly tie in with more activity ahead contrary to some views.

The green obligations on the majors seem to be taking a bit of a back seat with the political winds in US. Back to basics all round. Not such a stretch to imagine significant interest on being in on the ground floor. Rounding error cash for big operators.

They’ll chase any opportunity no term too short. They will also presumably sometimes need cash to cover leveraged positions in a volatile market

Matt I imagine matters will be greatly improved when we have actual facts to work with. Contributors with industry experience hopefully will provide clarity and a rational outlook. Until then it’s fun and games. Other than my scorecard being marked down hopefully temporarily I’ve had a smashing day. Loads here to look forward too. 👍

Tough news is delivered early and directly for several good reasons. People can process and deal with a known scenario. The thing many struggle far more with is uncertainty. I respectfully suggest that nothing that has been said in the rns and very little that could reasonably be feared justifies this reaction. These things take on a life of their own ably assisted no doubt . PG will when in a position to do so explain the next steps. I would also suggest that a supportive shareholder base can only help in any JV negotiation .
