We have no updates. Make of that what you will. Perhaps #PRD won’t be drilling either but a new acquirer will be. Hence the news silence.

Hard to imagine a bigger, better, easier and more profitable scenario than Geurcif. If however you’re certain of a fantastic outcome allowing profits to be brought forward and banked then lesser assets might become attractive. So imo it has to be a large, proximate deal with PG casting about for options to take rapid advantage of significant amounts of cash. If so I think you will see both a hefty dividend and an option to sell up into an educated and impressed market. Why carry on after sale ? If it’s not gorilla dust then he must see some stunning opportunities quickly realisable.

For significant increase all that is needed is a fair hearing. It’s a wonderful offering at 10 times today’s price imo. Being in a commercially sensitive negotiation is as I understand it the investing equivalent of a D- notice. Such an announcement would significantly boost the share price. 20- 30p doesn’t sound unreasonable early on. To avoid being legally vulnerable later on if you haven’t initially announced it , then that would suggest that not only is a deal is very much in progress but that you expect its conclusion to have a much greater impact on the share price than an earlier announcement would . Certainty of a deal and certainty of substantial shareholder return.
