I’d say from here a 3 bagger from Ireland and a 2 from TT with moderate patience. 5 in total . Morocco might well increase the return from both if it’s decent. Morocco itself should be significantly higher. Could we see a weighty return of capital early doors with remaining listing being a royalty vehicle for TT and Morocco ? I’d be more than content with that. Some of the early ambitious projections so derided by some could prove prescient with the a sensible time scale.

The really clever thing about Paul’s approach is that there are several variations on any deal. This increases the number of potential suitors and our bargaining power. Upwards pressure on scope and monetary value. Motivated buyers in competition and a seller who is relaxed, informed and can say no.

MBNDL this is my first and likely only venture into the world of Irish hydrocarbons if one excludes the purchasing of turf . Your frustration is palpable and I do sympathise. Things do change. Doesn’t do to conflate personal investment with wider interests. A patient well resourced party might see opportunity In a weakened unfashionable local industry that can be bought on the cheap. That bizarrely enough would be well served by politicians engaged in an unsustainable eco purity spiral. Many in Europe might overlook Irelands tax arrangements because of this but Europe needs money for peace and perhaps war. There’s a definite rift between America and Ireland on a number of issues. Ireland might be advantaged by at least the ability to import American gas. British politics could become a less accommodating environment in the near future. Recency bias can provide opportunity if exploited and hopefully PRED can . 👍

I’d say given the rationality and commercial nous of the Irish that the offering of PRED stands an excellent chance of partial if not complete acceptance. Do the critics have much genuine understanding of that particular market and society. More than Paul and some significant contributions to this board ? BTW much of the ongoing nonsense we all suffer under has origins well predating Morocco imho.
