Run a very conservative upside thro GRHs already painfully restrained projections and looking at today’s prices it is quite a prize.

Wraith appears every so often to remind me of my investing naivety so I was genuinely surprised by his sole focus on one aspect of Ireland as the only justification needed for holding till completion. A possible scenario of course being several well progressed attractive funding proposals requiring a choice to be made by management. With Ireland and yes TT bubbling away you would be wise to make said decision only when you absolutely must. More time for other options both internal and external to develop. Frustrating for us of course but solid management you’d have to say. Interesting week ahead on many fronts. GLA .

Zebra I don’t see much wrong with GRHs analysis of what has passed. Having spent time in communist Europe as a young man particularly Ceausescu’s Romania the effects of authoritarian rule on a population are extraordinary. Both rulers and ruled have a totally different mindset to free people. The cynicism couldn’t be overstated. It’s not the first time we have been temporarily undermined by our own decency. Anyway best to focus on PRED !!

My eldest daughter was kind enough to take me along to her university for a talk given by Vladimir Pozner . The old voice of radio Moscow that I found fascinating as a 14 year old and a close friend of Putin. This was over 7 years ago I think but what I recall above all else was his strident insistence that Russia simply would not accept nato expansion. I fear Putin has studied us far more closely than we have him.
