I suspect there could be a couple of scenarios played out Applegrath. I have seen before the SP go a couple of pence over the Bid... then to go a few pence under.
The very large holders knowing a deal is there are quite happy waiting 2 or 3 weeks for 7 -10%.
If it is special Dividend payment, I certainly would not want to be offloading my shares.

I bought two weeks ago and catching up today seeing £5 possibly by the end of the year. Would be very happy with that, however equally if it took 18 months in this climate more than happy to wait. Exciting times ahead.
