Trust me the telegram group is the total opposite of this place which is why I use it 99% of the time, you can actually express an opinion on there without being shot down! And obvious trolls are banned a lot quicker than on here. Nice group of genuine EUA investors without all the bot flies and childish arguments that infest this place sadly!
Well said sir. Some real low life's out there who to be honest I am amazed can even operate a computer! But I believe in karma and even if it's not real, well we know who the better people are. Whatever happens here they will always continue to be lowlife scum and we'll always be the better people richer or poorer!
In a way I think it'd have been better if he'd sold the lot, the fact he sold most but not all is what's confusing me a bit, if a theory like the sale of these shares is part of the takeover is to be entertained.
Just have to wait and hope for an update from the bod. No 7am RNS will be a bit of a kick while we're down at this point. I think they have every reason to write something up when the sp dropped 50% in 30 minutes.
Afterburn450 you think someone selling 27m shares makes the company essentially worthless? Him selling his shares (a drop in the ocean comparative to the shares in issue) makes everything in the ground worth nothing suddenly? Just trying to follow your logic here ;)
Dmitri couldn't sell if he wanted to. Someone spoke to Keith, Alexei has not worked with the bod for some time now. No idea what any of this means it's a sickener for sure but maybe he had to sell before the sale went through or risk losing his options. NO idea!
PP not following how it's misleading, it's just stating a fact! Facts aren't misleading are they... also why would you have been tempted to sell on the rise when this is potentially the last piece of the puzzle completed for a buy to be finalised now?
Maidit lse haven't got any RNS's out today don't be so paranoid, lse is just a mess of a service half the time
I think everyone is happy with the RNS? It's not that so much as the (lack of) market reaction surprising people as far as I can tell. Does it matter if you're holding till the end? No... but after the last couple of weeks drops it would have been nice to see the excitement grow again on what is undoubtedly the best news they could release at this stage. If we had to get an update that wasn't confirmation of a binding offer, confirmation of multiple non-binding offers is about the most amazing we could have dreamt of.
If you want to improve your average wouldn't sp need to go down or am I not understanding you :)
It was indeed a positive RNS the first actual confirmation we have had offers, plural, more than one offer... the legal line about no guarantee is back because we've changed from no guarantee of an offer to no guarantee the offer will become a transaction, seems fair... hard to find negatives really whatever way you look at it, not sure what the market or sellers are up to, maybe when this sinks in properly we will see people throw in some more...sinks...
I don't think even comparing to other FSP's will give you a better idea, no 2 will be the same. Point to remember is it's in no-ones interest to drag it out unnecessarily, there will be good reason why it's taking this long, it's not just to annoy us even if it sometimes feels that way lol.
You can only assume the time is due to the amount of data being looked at (and still to come potentially). If it was simply that they can't agree on a price you'd think the buyer would have just walked by now, I find some comfort in that theory anyway!
Great post clueless, sometimes we all need to be reminded of the bigger picture when we are seeing our paper profits vanishing like this! Patience will win the day.
Just to clarify on Mac's point though don't forget "success-fee" is in no way the same as "no deal no fee", Citic/UBS are being paid for whatever they're doing, and will get a bonus on top when the sale completes.
