I have been watching CTAG and wondering whether to get involved as my SXX and MOTR are more of a long term and was looking for something a bit more immediate ! Will do done more research but thanks for the overview. Come on SEPU, an early Xmas present please !

Brant - My average is 20.89, I have bought in 3 times since the beginning of November and obviously kick myself I didn't sell some last Wednesday when they got up into the 26's. Lesson Learnt there but I have read virtually every post on here since my first buy in and was convinced this was gonna be 35p minimum. I might as well wait it out for the 20p if it goes that way but after Hendos buying all their shares back and Oddo turning up Buying a big chunk I just think we will get a surprise here if we are patient, famous last words. I also have some SXX and MOTR which are longer term and havn't really seen anything else that looks appealing arm. How about yourself ?

I'm staying put too, i can't believe after everything I have read over the last few months they are gonna let this go for 20p. I think that it is a line in the sand to bring others to the table or to get to a vote which will not be supported by the 75% required and the offer will need to be increased. There have been some huge buys since Friday so obviously someone thinks this is worth a serious punt. Only time will tell !

Stepping back from this as we have all been in for a while know, if you were looking at this situation for the very first time today as whether to invest or not would any of us buy into something at 19.5p to possibly get to 20p if the Hytera deal goes through, I personally would not, thoughts anyone ??

That then suggests they have been watching this pan out and were waiting for a formal offer to arrive, bearing in mind the offer is not a dead cert @ 20p if things fall through, seems Oddo's are taking a very large risk for a potential but not guaranteed small return. Why would they want to tie that sort of money up with no guarantees of getting to the 20p with potential large losses if the SP were top fall back to say 10-15p ? Just doesn't stack up, come on, lets find out whats really going on ??

Did Oddo have any Sepu shares before Fridays announcement or has the formal offer news triggered their buying ?

As hendos spent weeks reducing their exposure whilst the other big holders didn't sell any, then to suddenly buy them all back in one hit, for a tiny return doesn't make sense. Surely something else has changed. Something must of upped the anti, maybe some clues in the rns's today.

LGW - I suppose only time will tell, I personally wouldn't want to tie up that sort of money for that amount of time when you way up the risk vs reward:- If Deal goes through with Hytera there is a very small profit to be made. If Deal falls out of bed then there is a Very Large Loss to be made. Something just doesn't stack up ! Hey Ho, patience required on this one me thinks.

Speculative Theory ! Hendos kept selling over the period to keep the SP around the 20p mark to encourage the Bid from Hytera, now they have got the bid they are buying them all back as they see a counter bid maybe more forthcoming. They also have the potential to make a small profit if the deal does go the whole way with Hytera. I suspect there is something else which is going to boost the earning potential for them. Just can't understand why they would go to these lengths if there wasn't a much greater reward at the end of it all All IMO.

15m Shares at a cost of Appx £3,000,000 to earn £112,500 if the 20p deal goes through seems a lot of money to tie up for the next few months with no guarantees the deal will definitely go through, surely someone like Hendos now they had the money out would want to be re-investing elsewhere with scope for much higher returns, unless there is something else they know that we don't !!

I think there is going to be much more to this, why would someone be buying 1,000,000 or 2,000,0000 shares to potentially have to wait months to make £5,000 ! With no guarantees either, that seems like a lot of money to tie up for such a small return ! Also if deal falls through that would mean big losses for them in comparison to the potential gain. I personally will be holding to see how this pans out. Hopefully there is a Twist to this madness ! GLA

New Car Net Retail is down nearly 12% YTD, good news for the used car sector, hoping for some good results in the Interims on the 29th Nov to help push the sp northwards !

Also could be a promising sign that the BOD's bought over 3m Shares between them @ circ 138p in October 16, possibly some good results are imminent. IMO

Any ideas where this may take the SP ?
