Interesting read from ADVFN thread.
nick2412: As far as getting communication from the Company on public domain issues, well it is like getting blood out of a stone. I took the view that it's either because things like the POC are not going to go ahead hence the Company's reticence or it's because it is progressing and extreme confidentiality clauses are in place. To try and test which one I took all the public domain statements about the POC and wrote to the Company to state that I am relying on these statements and directors have responsibility for them. The Company confirmed that it is adhering to AIM regulations and Ian McDonough said he is meeting with all the various clients, project contacts including the POC. Jonathan Lees said there was no change to existing public domain guidance. I'll put another post up later on which states what I am relying on i.e the specific FBT public domain statements. These include the POC rns and a transcript of an interview Aziz conducted with Proactive Investors. These sources include the statement that FBT are integrating Forscene with the major consumer partner product (I assume Apple Final Cut). Well the Company have said 'no change' and by implication no change to those statements. I lean towards the view that Aziz was far too forthcoming for the 'major consumer's' liking in both the rns and the interview and they reminded and firmed up extremely restrictive confidentiality terms. I'll post up the interview transcript with Proactive and the rns and but, in short, I used FBT's words about the agreed Forescene product integration with the major consumer company and the fact that the criterion for a resulting commercial deal was cost savings for the UK broadcaster. I reminded them that Aziz had put on the public record that the criterion for a deal with the factual department of the UK broadcaster (with the expectation that it was to be extended out) was cost saving. In other words the implication is if FBT plus partner pass the designated test a commercial deal will result. I also reminded them that I was relying on the statement that Forescene was being integrated with the major consumers offering to this client (BBC of course) and the resulting integrated product would be offered by the major consumer company to its clients. In short I told them if there was any change to this they were obligated under AIM Regulations to inform. I was advised by Jonathan Lees there was no change and Aim Regulations were being followed and similarly by Ian McDonough. To be fair to Ian, he has just started and he confirmed to me he intends to make the business a success and he is in the process of meeting key clients. I get the impression he would be much more forthcoming if he were allowed to. The fact he isn't maybe for good reason or paranoia of losing the potential POC deal on SS's part. Ian also wrote that he would consider my suggestion to do an investor presentation evening. I think Stephen Streater calls the tun
