It's another streaming format, so not a direct competitor for Blackbird.

Internet bandwidth doubles at a much faster rate, but it could increase demand for video - in 10 years time when everyone can play it back on their STBs.

This isn’t the time to be selling.

If the OEM ends up being the likes of Google Cloud or Amazon AWS then there will be a rerating.

Something I did find fascinating was Stephen Streater talking about there meeting with the CTO and team at Google Cloud.

Blackbird were demoing the Player which runs in Java Script.

The CTO of Google Cloud was blown away and said , “How did you do it”

It’s something they had never seen or considered.

It just shows the advanced knowledge SS and his R&D team have, that the likes of Google make comments like that.

This share price is due a re-rating.

With Blackbird you don’t need to send large teams as everything can be edited remotely so could be a great selling point with the Coronavirus risks.

Just topped up. Not far off 14p issue price so couldn’t resist. The CEO said they are in advanced discussions so news could drop anytime. Could easily shoot back up to 18p + IMHO.

Share price is only down here because markets have dropped due to Coronavirus fears.

Fundamentals haven’t changed for the BIRD.

Great opportunity to top up in my opinion.

If anything Blackbird should benefit from the Coronavirus as it allows teams to work remotely, so companies won’t need to send so many staff abroad.

It will obviously be a major concern to sports and media companies as we have Tokyo Olympics this year.
