Thanks for the info - I'm 'holding' at 14p... I should have sold at 30p... I don't think I'll be recovering that in a hurry..!
I'm not a newbie - but have very little meaningful knowledge of share holder liability - I'm invested in KEA (Ha..!) but have no concept in context of where I am as a share holder - i.e. can I sell, when can I sell, what are the immediate risks (apart from not being able to recover my investment) etc etc.. AND to what extent share holders are liable for the company's debt..? Your help would be much appreciated
What the... will I ever see the likes of 14p again.... never mind 30...!!!!
Thanks - your posts most certainly offer an unfettered view of KEA's position. Unlike others whom continue to wear the Rose tinted welding mask... GL
In short - you're saying my wife will kill if she finds out the majority of my AIM shares are on life-support... LOL Thanks mate and I wish you genuine success in whatever your holding. I've been asked to invest 20k [to 'lease'] in a car parking space at Glasgow Airport, the agent claims it has an 8% return all-day long... Next time he calls me I'll switch to a video call so he can see the word 'sucker' written across my forehead in Ferrari red lip-stick. Thanks again and take care. Oh and BTW, if I had 20k it would be in an ISA...:)
I too share your sentiments - I'm considerably out of pocket and riding the AIM Roller Coaster. I'm holding at 14p and can't bring myself to sell (what a joke) or average down. I should have sold nearer to 11p. I've certainly lived and learned... GL
I was asking a serious question. Are you bored or just stuck up your own borehole. You make me feel so inadequate. I only achieved a 2nd Class Hons Degree, £20k down the pan... I've also got four A Levels. None of which are in English Language. Stay on topic and dispense with the grammatical pedantics. Have a nice day.
Please explain what you mean by ''the ineviatble rears it's...''
''...The admission to trading on AIM of the Desire Shares will be cancelled with effect from 07.00 a.m. on 6 December 2013'' . In summary no more trading as DES from 06/12/13. New 'share certificates issued' for FOGL ''no later'' than 19/12/13. Therefore this suggests everything from the 6th Dec onwards became FOGL - that's how I'm ready the RNS 5/12/13 - Good luck for 2014.
Thanks for your post. For info, my DES shares have gone (no longer ID'd as DES) from my trading account and are now FOGL... I certainly wont betrading DES up to the 19th LOL :(
Average cost of DES - £00.62, Average ocst of FOGL - £01.10 WTH (F)...!
Been working away for a while, thought I'd check the board and just read tiler1's post - whats occurring. I 'd be most grateful if anyone could bring me up to speed - thanks in advance. Holding at 67p
J9 It's still hurting LOL...!, I invested originally at £00.45p and sold at around £01.20 - bought in on the way down at £00.69 and have been holding my breath ever since..... GLA, I'm not bitter, just rather p***ed Off...! with this share :)
It depends what you're wishing for and the scope of evidence - Some poor PI's are well and truely locked in at well over £01.00. Personally I would advise people to DTOR, I'm on the side of caution as far asa DES goes, I have too much invested at far to big a loss. Many others, as I, are still spinning after the Oil to water FIASCO.... However, if you have some worthwhile evidence to share I'm all ear's. Please spare me the speech regarding '' if I can't afford to loose it, blah, blah, blah....''
More speculation... This share is isn't going anywhere for some time, ADJshares has give the best summary of where DES is, however I can't understand why people keep making reference to this being a buy..?
I'm not short, I'm 1.85mt tall - I'm not a wind up ethier - and I've been reading books for the last four years, almost daily. You shouldn't take my comments personally, I wasn't doubting your business acumen or skill as an investor, however, I was merely asking you to share your evidence. May be you should read some books on emotional intelligence. May I respectfully suggest Stough et al 2009, the e-book is only £90, a bargain. Thanks for your post, and good luck.
Allotment of securities.? Does that mean somone is having another holiday out of us, unfortunately I have a prior engagement on the 29th - You can be my proxy if you like LOL..! Please share your experiences after the meeting

Steptoe - I empathise. Daya - You're right it's a dog of a share, long term game does not even come close, if I could dump I would, principles and the wife won't let me..! Jay111 - You're optimism is impressive, what are the foundations for your view on DES, if they are as promising as you suggest then why aren't they as RKH or FOGL (00.20 +)..? My view is based on almost four years of waiting for this shower to take something meaningful to market - That's my rant over
If I were you I'd put my money into something more stable, have a look at KEA DYOR. I just wouldn't bother until you have substansially research DES. I expereinced the oil to water fiasco and didn't sell when I should have. I and many others, are locked into this dog, I'm in at 0.63p and going nowhere in a hurry. Without over stating it, I have nothing but contempt for this share - the last three years have been a joke... from one disaster to another...
