Airport tax abolished for children4 Dec 2014 16:17
My perception of the increase in share price is down to two reasons, excellent consistent results as investors like consistency and not surprises like at TCG and the announcement on 03rd Dec by George Osborne - Chanceller - Air passenger duty for children under the age of 12 on economy travel will be abolished from May 2015 with follow tweet " "This will save a family of four £26 on a flight to Europe, and £142 on one to the US," the Treasury tweeted. " This will help Tui in two direct ways, holidaymakers will likely use the saving and contribute towards buying a more expensive holiday and less administration costs in having to pay UK Gov the APD.
When the French economy picks up, Tui will benefit, leaving the Russia holiday market an outstanding concern. Once the politics are resolved in Russia and Ukraine, Tui will be a direct benefit. They do like to travel just as mucj as they like investing in the property market in London.
