The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Pumpky, you are the literal definition of BS. I rarely post, but read a lot of the comments on the various boards which I own shares in and I have established there are always one or two idiots that offer nothing constructive either for or against a particular stock. You are that individual for HEMO and congratulations, you have earned the distinction of being only the 4th person I have ever filtered (one of the others being Scooter and that speaks volumes).
BlackHopeper - I completely agree. I topped in the early .4's after the silly drop on 23 November. What irks more than anything is that they were quite happy to drop the share price circa 27% on pretty much nothing news and the increase on tangible results is less than this. It is a bit of a joke really and I will be topping up again as this price is a gift. Perhaps the sales are part of the explanation, but I have to question what is going on. Is the market looking for more, such as flow rates and commerciality? Before anyone asks, yes I am a shareholder and hold 4.6m.
diplomat - I completely agree with you in terms of the sentiment and any capital raises should be offered to shareholders first. The Mem & Arts would always dictate what you can and cannot do, but private companies and other vehicles nearly always approach their investors for cash as it does not dilute their percentage holding (unless they do not take it up) and if you issue at NAV or the share price, they are more likely to be held on to. It annoys me intensely when these raises are constantly done through brokers and bucket shops. There should be a law and written in the companies articles that shareholders are always given the option first and at the share price of the announcement. If they use the excuse of a quick raise required, it usually displays poor management and organisational skills with no business plan in place.
Personally, I think this is an over reaction by the market to the RNS and a perfect chance to average down, which I have and that's a couple of million more shares. Time will tell if it was a wise move or not :-)
Former (very) LTH and initially surprised at the big rise, but the RNS appears to be a step in the right direction. Was invested here since 2010 until this year and eventually got tired of the constant no news, delays, dilutions and other exasperations that seem to tie themselves to this company. The question is what the board do from here and I hope it's identifying good investments that reward shareholders for their hard earned. I wish you all the best and whereas this journey ended for me in the summer, I hope you all gain/achieve a good return on your investment. Parting note will be that I am glad they got out of UKOG and my gut feel on that company was proved correct.
GM78, I read your tweets and replied on a thread noting the nonsense being spouted by certain individuals who are obviously short or know someone who is. A change of a nomad is just that and if it doesn't, we go private and are still shareholders. For those who have zero patience, this is a deal worth a significant amount of money if it happens. Do you truly believe that a commercial deal of this magnitude is ironed out in a couple of days with a one page agreement? Try groups of lawyers, an SPA bigger than the bible and parties in dialogue for weeks/months to agree what is best for them. This may end up not happening and we do it alone, but seriously, get a grip and stop worrying about things you cannot influence
Lol! Erazzel, have you been chatting to Minden?!
Great find Bugsy and is the end result closer or nearly here? Lets wait with baited breath and consume some popcorn. Someone definitely should write a book about this btw...
Minden, no one forced you to press the buy button and this is AIM. The golden rule is to always do your research, have an exit price and expect to lose your entire investment. You are stating that we have lost everything, we may have, but we will not know until we get formal updates. The company is currently private and you are a shareholder. Leave it at that and I, like all LTH, hope the end result is good for everyone apart from TW and his shorting cabal. Moaning about it will not achieve anything and I have empathy as I will lose a substantial out cash if this does not work out, but I await news and see how the end game plays out.
I know that feeling Rainbow! Apart from today, I have not posted in over a year as there was no real point. The super sleuths kept me updated with the relevant information that I needed to know. All the rest is out of our hands. There seems to be a power play going on that we simple insignificant private investors cannot influence. There is no point in worrying about anything as time will tell us eventually what the outcome of this will be and if you cannot influence it, take a step back and try to get on with your life. Thank you for the positivity though, it has been much appreciated
100 % concur with you Regdik, I've read the board every couple of days in order to read any updates and whereas most of it would make a psychiatrist laugh, there have been some useful updates amongst the noise. People will use different mediums/platforms when it comes to social media and some do not use it at all and this BB should be kept open and utilised as much as possible.
Just logged on and have seen 400+ posts! At least it is a bit more positive than the doom and gloom from yesterday and from a cursory glance, there is talk of a FOF group/forum or however it functions. Can someone summarise this and provide any of the contact email addresses or URL's.
1onic, out of interest, which one are you? TW, Easy Brent, Waseem or Loglorry (aka Tim Kempster)? Cheers :-)
Hi Big Double, it does make sense to make a collective communication to the FRR board to understand what is going to happen in terms of business plan, are we re-listing, convening an EGM etc. Happy to email you with my details but I would like assurances that my details will not be provided to any other party without my permission. Can DM you directly if better to discuss then. I have purposely not been on the boards for a while as there was little point with speculation and no concrete news. Not worried as such, but would definitely like some clarification. Thanks
Cheers ma5k, much appreciated. Lets see what tomorrow's trading and any "news" brings... GLA
Does anyone know the current resistance levels on FRR?
Afternoon all, been away from the lse board for a while as I have been monitoring our arch enemies posts on twitter, ADVFN and blogs (TW, Sleazy Brent, Wshat etc) to keep an eye on them and pull them up on the drivel they spout so it was quite a surprise to find hundreds of posts on here, but hardly any on FRR. FulhamJohn, I love your posts on ADVFN and thank you for helping Fozzer keep the morons in check and keep it up as I am right with you on exposing the false information and lies from Wshat and Choc Log.
I have to agree with Regdik though on this one and to everyone, stop this initiative Q nonsense and set up a link to a site where you can subscribe and obtain your millions from a potentially dodgy source till your hearts are content :-)
Complete speculation on my part and just a thought, but note that Wshat is still bleating on ADVFN about a placing. Wouldn't it be funny if Zaza had "indicated" to the City that he was looking for funding, but it wasn't true and he was lulling the shorters into parting more of their cash and then hit them with a JV RNS with a major. I would find it hilarious personally :-)
1onic, we will agree to disagree on this one. I do not trust a single word that Wshat tweets or writes on BB's due to his past character as a tax dodger being exposed and for various instances of lies and the skewering of facts. An example being the posts on Friday regarding the amount FRR have to repay to YA being more and not in their favour. It is also known that TW has "praised" him before in other tweets/blogs and therefore, I believe he is part of the TW crew and they couldn't predict the winner of a one horse race. They just know how to short with the use of underhand tactics.
His modus operandi is to work in tandem with the other pond life, i.e, Choc Log, TW, Sleazy Brent, Dumpa33, Nurse Holiday etc to make money at the expense of the PI by lying and twisting facts. He may end up being correct on some of his points and time will solve that little conundrum.
I should also add that IMPO, there are some shorters who are too emotionally attached to this share and may have a lot of money riding on the share price going down and this might cloud their judgement and could be their ultimate downfall. Lets hope that is the case and Zaza delivers a stonking RNS :-)
1onic - You would continue to short if you think you are able to get people to sell and that is part of their plan. There is always a feel good factor when the price goes up and the news is good. People worry when the price goes down or remains stagnant. I have seen it on various boards and even on this one. People have asked here "with the news on majors, why is the share price where it is?" They then start to doubt and with shorting trolls posting on the boards and on social media (which is the worst culprit), it creates an element of doubt and that is what they prey on.
By stifling the share price, they hope people get bored or panic and sell and they then close their shorts. It is a risk with the news that could land at any moment and they are hoping for either or a combination of the following; the majors to walk away, the flow rates being rubbish, a placing or Outrider causing problems. I don't think that any of these are likely to happen, but we will find out and yes I am a holder of FRR shares and yes, I will continue to hold.
