during 2000s, resulted in fast drops in V prices. we seeing same pattern ? and this is simply V prices being factored into future profits and hence SP?
remind me what BMN expected 2018 profit is likely to be again .... £100million EBITBA ? For a company mcap £271million If the SP goes so low, could we be in a ridicous position where the annual EBITBA is more than the company mcap ? ha ha
stoggy88..... I think I recall he was under water to time of £185,000 . thst was about 30p SP. is he still here ?
Bad reasons to sell To be thorough, there are some bad reasons to sell a stock that investors should avoid. These include, but aren't necessarily limited to: 1) Because the stock's price plunged: This is perhaps the worst possible reason to sell a stock. If your original reasons for buying still apply, and the price has gone down significantly, it should be looked at as an opportunity to buy, not to sell. 2) Because the stock's price increased sharply: I've been guilty of this one a few times, and at first, this might not sound like a bad reason to sell. For example, I sold Tesla after shares roughly tripled from its IPO price, even though all signs were pointing toward dramatically improved vehicle sales and a path to long-term profitability. In the years since, shares have increased another 300% or so from where I sold it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fool.com/amp/investing/2018/05/16/how-warren-buffett-decides-its-time-to-sell-a-stoc.aspx

following discussion below, I found this: (Oct 2018) https://www.iea.org/newsroom/news/2018/october/population-without-access-to-electricity-falls-below-1-billion.html However despite all of these stories of progress and success, the world still remains off-track in its efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7.1 to ensure universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services by 2030. The population without access to electricity remains at 600 million in sub-Saharan Africa – totalling 57% of population – and 15 countries in that region have access rates below 25%. Meanwhile 350 million people lack access in developing Asia, or 9%. In addition, nearly 2.7 billion people lack access to clean cooking facilities worldwide, relying instead on biomass, coal or kerosene as their primary cooking fuel. Clearly as we celebrate the achievements of the past year, there remains an urgent need for further action. Over the past two decades the IEA has supported these efforts by providing country-by-country data on energy access, in addition to serving as one of the custodian agencies for SDG 7.2 on renewables and 7.3 on energy efficiency. The IEA is also chairing the next edition of the Tracking SDG7 report due in May 2019, a joint work of the SDG7 co-custodian agencies namely (IEA, IRENA, UN Statistics Division, WHO, and World Bank). The IEA looks forward to the next milestone in global access to energy, and one day the realisation of access to modern energy for all of the world’s people.
Brazil. I am a realist. my post below was fact. I know people here want me to say the SP will be £2 by Xmas and 50p dividend declared. my post would be recommended and you would love me. alas, I don't chase fantasies
I recall when SOLG moved from AIM to the FTSE. they then dual listed on Canadian TSX. none of these moves had any positive effect on the SP. in fact, the subsequent months after the TSX listing, the SP fell a lot.
anyone noticed the incredibly close similarity between BMN and Largo Resources, another of the world's biggest Primary V producers ? 1) coincidence of non related fundamental issues to both ? 2) shorting attack on both? 3) MM games? 4) V price effect ? I reckon 85 % due to (4), and.15% due to (2) and (3). I reckon (1) is not the effect What do others think ?
bobbyaxe, you wrote "Stop looking at the SP every 5 mins. Hold your Bushy shares for the next few years and you will rolling in beautiful Lolly." I totally agree. we may get to 20p before, but within 5 years the patient will be rewarded.
i am a holder. but not tempted to sell unless something goes wrong with BMN fundamentals. You have to have a long term view when cyclical corrections like this happen. you have to be prepared to hold for a very long time. Ask Warren buffet. it's his advice
it's all about V prices. vanadium a history of huge volatility.
largo resources down over 4 %. To me this is general correction. why ? V price plummet. or are the shorters chosing both BMN and Largo ?
endion. I have recently been looking at Largo Resources, 1 of the world's largest primary vanadium producers, like bmn. I see similar SP action between largo and BMN. look at the 1 year chart here ..... https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-samsung&ei=x9a0XJvNI4Ww5wKl85-ICQ&q=to%3Alargo+share&oq=&gs_l=mobile-gws-wiz-serp.1.3.35i39l8.648675.649939..661021...1.0..4.1473.6460.6-2j4......0....1.......8..0i71.QBS2Z_cETRg
sorry Alfa, travelling , Costa Rica, weird time zones
Alfa, ok,thanks, clears up my concerns. This time around different circumstances to the previous 2 V spikes & subsequent drops.
