That’s figures for the underground mined coal not the Hiwall mined coal. The contribution to the overall totals produced is about 20-25% and don’t forget it’s HivolA which is at a premium to HivolB…

Hiwall mined coal is obviously more intensive and the washed coal was running to near 60% and will be cheaper cost to mine too…

Pen, the formal offtake agreement is with Integrity and Avani, not TATA or whoever..

The offtake agreement with Integrity was announced at the launch of the company and hasn’t changed. The agreement with Avani was mid July..

The plants casting doubt either haven’t read the mid July coal RNS or as usual sewing seeds of doubt by hoping investors don’t actually read the RNS’s correctly which is often the case.

BEN didn’t have a contract with the steel company, Integrity did. Since that delivery there is a new offtake agreement with our large shareholder Avani as well as Integrity…

Fair to say if there’s 2 offtake agreements in place then there will be plenty of takers for the BCMC* brand.

Just an fyi I have heard that hundreds of patch leads have been offered voluntary redundancy , as well as engineers and patch managers, with some having already taken the option in the last few weeks.

Have you heard anything more on this? There’s no mention of it in the press or CWU website. Thanks in advance.

Not sure JH but the RNS 26th of July said we’d entered into a contract supplying both Integrity and Avani so there must be plenty of customers imo..

The majority of BT powered DSLAMS are on a kerb. I think the initial project is to allow BT EVs to use the facility to charge their vehicles as they are in the area and then accelerate the availability moving forward. Seems a simple but smart idea. VM cabinets are also powered so maybe a joint initiative could be in order going forward.

Just to add there is still some lead cabling maybe less than 1% of all cables in the ground but most of it is in old deep ducts undisturbed for decades.

In fact most of it was the old trunk cables connecting towns and cities and has already been recovered anyway.
