never shorted in my life - thats the truth .. sorry you dont believe me. look at my posting history here. i am an "investor" - not a day trader or shorter. been doing so for 30 years. as i said i have some isa cash free and so was looking at btg which is a company i dont know a lot about. my question was genuine. im surprised that they dont pay dividends and im intrigued to see such a high p/e - there is no agenda behind my questions. my "WINK" comment was designed to get some intelligent response here !
no never shorted a share in my life ! looking for a home for some isa cash- preferably with a decent yield. so interested in btg but note that there is no dividend but that its on a really high p/e ratio. hence my question about the bull case here ... but there does not seem to be one ! ;) (on discussion really on advfn either) maybe i should look at shorting it ?
surprised no holder here wants to make a case for btg. it just seems to be on quite a high earnings multiple especially given the lack of a dividend. maybe its a case that management always deliver (so far) ?
ok mikey thanks for your reply .. interesting. still researching here so no position at the moment. clearly there comes a point where they have to break through and make some decent revenues. if their products are as good as some folk think perhaps 2013 is going to be their year. gl eddy
hi. just looking at this one. looks like it has lost money for 2 of the last 5 years and has cumulative losses of £128.6 million. neither is there a dividend so what is the bulls case for buying ?
so why is this one a buy now ? anyone care to make the positive argument for corac. is it a case of years of product development about to pay off in 2013 ?
ok thanks. yes i always do my own research. may buy a few when i have finished. good luck with your investment.
been having a look at this one as their business seems to have good prospects. quite a rise recently though .. have i missed the train ?
well i bought a few recently at around 90 so happy so far ....
this was a placing by the directors at 75p to improve availability of stock i believe,
interesting outfit. anyone here hold any ?
not one i follow closely. anyone know why its down today ?
sp at 92p. looking good to me. had a few at 79p in october. looks like the market thinks its due a rerating
£21.58 to buy today !
just one persons opinion. spx management have a bloody good record if you look at the companies results over the years. a profitable business with niche products, decent yield .. limited downside imho. lots of worse places to invest your hard earned !
pleased about the offer but hoped for more in due course - nice start to the week though !
ok thanks bonz
has this gone ex div re the interim payable 18/1 ?
been here since april waiting patiently for the market to wake up to agi. looks like it is now - lets hope that the disparity between cash and capitalisation narrows.
looks like a great time to be in tpj. bought in at 6.6 a couple of weeks back & enjoying the ride so far. from what i read before buying it looks highly likely that we will be bought out - not too soon though i hope !
