Again, need to take and correct TerryM1 post and final paragraph:
1. Did not take down the whole system.
2. a day or 2 is absolutely nothing to find the vulnerability, fix it and bring the system back up in an orderly manner when you have thousands of employees and external users on it. We can afford 1 day of salaries, what a ridiculous argument. It would have been a lot more costly not to take the system down.
3. The system was taken down to protect data and fix vulnerability.
4. No system is "attack" proof NONE!!
5. There was no data breach which is what really matters. The cost on reputation and legal would have been astronomical. This shows they have solid processes to deal with attacks or issues of this type. I rather they took their time, here 2 days to resolve the issue than rush it to please Terry
6. TerryM1 doesn't know anything about IT
