It depends upon your timelines but to be sure 20p a share was very good value at that time when I held both stocks so was happy to pay 20p but from my perspective as rre holder much more would have been toppy, imho.
You've got to look at opportunity costs elsewhere.
There is certainly good value here but not as high as some on here are expecting imho.

How can anyone say the rre offer was "cheap" when it was 50% higher than currently and it has never got anywhere near 20p since then, lol.
I am not sure it would have formally crystallised at 20p but if it had, that certainly was good value at the time.
There is always a significant gap between pis and professional valuations of assets and that has been shown shown by the delt pi holders today.
To say 20p at the time last year was derisory is a joke and then to infer that because rre is no longer in existence "proving" this statement is even funnier!!
So do you guys know how much it was floated at, when and how much it sold for?!
The respective mgt team aren't in the same universe let alone planet, lol.
There are plenty of good n sea assets up for grabs at the moment and no real need for exploration upside, christ look what the munters here did with the exceptionally high cos / pos of Harvey!
Be realistic guys, yes this will come good eventually but there have been far better opportunities along the way.

Matherdj not that this is relevant but the govt. "may" be interested in who the JV partners are for a variety of reasons.
Also it is not the operator who makes up non jv payments it is all the partners in equitable proportions of ownership.

It's a serious point. I've made small fortunes before and seen my mates look on enviously, complaining about easy money and pleading with me for my next "tips". I only ever tell them what I've bought (after I've bought) and ALWAYS make sure I say that ALL stocks are inherently very risky.
I NEVER ever recommend anything because they don't seem to appreciate when I lose small fortunes in shares (AS WELL!) and just think my next "tip" will be a winner.

Matherdj I agree totally with Crusty. I am concerned we are running on fines butcam happy with mgt team in place who whilst probably not entrepreneurial are a safe, most aporopriate pair of hands since company started imho. All imho and dyor folks.
