Absolutely not disagreeing mate. There is definitely technical rusk here and probably a little higher than people realuss, IMHO. Am hoping your share price suggestions are a little unambitious though but, there are a lot of traders, tired (and overstretched) investors here, which will obviously have an "unknown" impact as well. IMHO.

Hi GGG, apologies thought you were at IOG, must have been a similar handle. To be clear, I am absolutely not comparing the two. I just thought you were there and we used to converse quite a bit. Re TXP, I personally think if these two wells do not come good good, share price reaction will be awful, simply because a lot of punters will "give up" and that will have an exaggerated effect on share price. I also personally think they will be good wells, maybe not as earth-shattering as certain people think or expect. Dhb, thanks for the advice matey hut I've probably been around a lot longer than you investing and always good to have a realistic hat on when doing so, I was absolutely the only punter who shouted for caution on this share, pre Casca production regarding quite frankly ridiculous share price predictions and wanted management changes and since then it has dropped about 60%!! Funnily enough I think it has "probably" dropped too far now and expect GGG's share price expectations to hopefully be exceeded in the near to medium term future, IMHO.

The "management" here, obviously still needs changing as well of course. Again all IMHO, DYOR.

Lexion - good post except some of the TXP holders were expecting £7.50 per share at this time as well - and I'd say the vast majority are completely (shell) shocked as to what the share price is now - (except you may remember - me!!). who really knows what the share price will in fact be - I am of course "hoping" significantly higher than here but certainly wouldn't be surprised if we were still below 50p - hope not - but historically speaking we can all but hope! Sturm - absolutely concur re BoD at TXP - it needs cutting down and quickly - however this acquisition does make commercial sense if it can be used to offset TRIN losses - and as long as that is legally proven then it is a good acquisition - of course that is setting aside the fact that TXP should have concentrated on getting Casca online as early as possible - but IMHO they have made a lot of errors with that regard previously as well - probably larger from a financial perspective (dilution re Rosyton etc) than this particular "project" so really the criticism should be more about previous TXP strategy than the timing on this particular one, surely? All IMHO of course. PS I don't think I'm biased (or are you - you make very pertinent points) - I think the "facts" and current MARKET share price exhibit such "feelings" are correct?

Well it kind of is when the seller is TRIN - they hardly have viable buyers queuing up? The LOL "offer" still had government approvals to get through and I personally think was "forced" as a result of the TXP "offer"?! Just my opinion. At the end of the day I wasn't that bothered because such things go part and parcel with acquisitions and in all honesty even if the timing was perfect - TXP would only have got it "cheaper" by what 10 - 15 - 20% cheaper maximum? I am getting concerned about the proportionate legal costs compared to total deal value though?! As ever all IMHO.

Johnxxxx I don't think so personally re timing of deal. You or someone on here said PB has taken a lot of crap for this deal. I don't think he has actually, the deal always made commercial sense and was a somewhat obvious one anyway - and PB certainly probably couldn't have foreseen a lot of the issues that have occurred since this deal was first mooted with TRIN. However considering the impacts to the share price of TXP since then (assuming was quite sometime ago of course!) I do think had I been PB I would have tried to "put off"the timing of the final crystallisation of deal until the market had better visibility of the Casca "issues" and hence the share price may have recovered higher - than where it currently is? I do not think the cash offer from LOL would have surfaced now - had it not been for the TXP approach - as it does seem a bit cack handed and late? I think the only criticism PB had suffered on this subject has been around timings - that is all and may well be fair with that regard? All IMHO of course.

Ah ok Sturm I don't post on Discord anymore for other reasons (or many other free bbs as there are more important things to do with my time so will not reply again here) but still pop in occasionally to Discord as it is a good data repository and hadnae seen any of your posts lately - but probably just simply missed them among the other "chat" ahem. I do like your "out of the box views" and absolutely could be pertinent however, perhaps the timelines would be indicative of more, on the lines of, utilisation of tax losses, Galeota "optimisation" or whatever the latest references are now (LOL) plus "better quality" staff to be the main motivation back then - which admittedly also could be turned 100% (ie for survival rather than growth if Casca does not come in?). I am still a "fan" of Casca and would be surprised if it turned out to be a "write-off" (these things do happen though?) but there is always self perpetuated nervousness where Clown is involved - due to his own historic exuberance setting expectations too high - but obviously can appreciate the perceived risk profile is now significantly higher than before the Chinook and Rosyton debacles and the waste of cash that could have been directed much better elsewhere at the time. As ever all IMHO and DYOR of course.

Guys / Gals - absolutely respectfully I doubt the bond holders will get fully paid - or if they do it will be many years IMHO.

1. You don't know what the production profiles are now - how low have they got?

2. The assets only have value if anyone wants them or there is a use for them - this does not look to be the case - looking at potential "real" fields coming online which need transportation - significantly anyway.

3. No-one has taken into account the de-com liabilities.

4. Tax losses are debatable as to true value - and ie only if you have profits to offset them against and within the same "ring-fence".

Absolute best of luck to the litigation seekers - but beware of what you ask for and I think you will need it.

Bebeto - it is shocking how many were ramping this up actually. I genuinely am gutted here for all share-holders - even the rude ones who we did try to warn. It has been a case of appalling mismanagement since very very early days IMHO.
