A week or so ago we were a "smidge below 31p"?

We never actually broke 31p but I was wondering what the Level 2 was telling you now?

So tell me is this good news or bad news because as ever, my cautious comments re share price were ridiculed?

Smasher respectfully this isn't far away from infra structure and certainly could have been developed quicker for many various reasons (strategically and operationally) and I'm sure a lot of experienced industry professionals would support that view IMHO (and others may well disagree, lol) I'm talking similar or bigger size onshore assets in different African countries as a comparison. Whilst I realise certainly not a great comparator and whilst not an "easy" environment to work in, regardless TXP have had long enough now to understand the various specific issues in T&T and these should be taken into account within the planning and scheduling process. I don't want to labour "the bridge construction" but why has this taken longer than initially planned? Procurement, third party services, project design and weather are surely all "known knowns" by now?

You are 100% right though, we have a drill to fill headline to follow but again TXP have hardly achieved that this year so it is a fair question for investors to concern themselves about this next is it not?

Equally TXT dissemination of the production profiles from inception and the actual figures achieved, also offer a fair concern for investors.

All IMHO and offered in the spirit of debate and not just trying to de-construct your points unnecessarily.

Great post Trek, may I also add we have a plethora of "traders" now which certainly impacts the price as well and will continue to do so for a long time, IMHO.

Sturm, "If", even if they do, a lot will question why so long to get there with so much "waste / inefficiency / questionable strategies" along the way? The "management" discount will continue, IMHO, as the fact we find ourselves in this situation now, will not also just be magicked away?

Respectfully everything takes longer and is likely more expensive than it should be when comparing to similar assets, IMHO.

I keep on hearing PB is toast etc if they don't hit these timelines blah blah but the fact also remains I think "we" are stuck with the team as is (but hopefully less a lot of "irrelevance" soon) and any change of CEO would have to be very very careful decision and transitioned over appropriate time period as he obviously has built some form of network in T&T, IMHO. Better the devil you know etc. but at the risk of repeating myself (lol), "we" always should have had one or two "company big hitters" resident there long long ago. Again, all IMHO.

SS mate, I've been calling this "right" for well over 2 years now.

I really don't think people truly appreciate the risks here and I think the way PB has run this company is appalling. There never appears to be any learnings or accountability for continual underperformance and people question why the share price is so low?! As ever only my opinion but I haven't been right just now, as I say it's been over 2 years. The only reason I was here was Casca, so let's hope we can finally finally see some real value accretion there. IMHO. DYOR.

This is what I meant by capitulation if we had "bad" news so far we haven't had any but it's still dropped 20% - since I got castigated for daring to say this, lol.

Everyone jumped on me when I said if it's bad news we are at the point of capitulation. We actually had "reasonable" news and the share price has still dropped over 10%!

What people need to understand and build into their expectations here, is that the "management" team are very lower quartile offset by a potentially mid - upper mid quartile onshore "stranded" asset. The problem is that it could be a complimacated reservoir and it will likely take this team twice as long and waste money unnecessarily along the way, to achieve what a half decent team otherwise could.

When the market works that out, hopefully, we will start to see some positive asset revaluation based on proven asset value and "little else".

Whilst I appreciate sentiment can turn on a coin I still think it's going to be a long hard slog and I think a lot of people are (rightly) concerned about recent production profiles and dont want to see bad news re recent two wells production.

It would also be good to see some trimming of the BoD next week, as it would at least reflect what a lot of current shareholders seem to think (rightly) on this subject.

absolutely, but respectfully, johnoxxx a lot of what grocer was saying about company pfmce and management decisions is simply true and not opinion. why else are value driven ii's (and even hedge funds / private equity) not taking position here? i'd say a fair view, don't like some of the, quite frankly ridiculous and inefficient management decisions, that have affected txp assets. people keep on blaming clown about "over selling the proposition and performance" but, perhaps just perhaps, it is simply because of the actual performance that txp share price is so low? please dont repeat the oft heard (extremely ******) "oh it's not txp, it's t&t" "excuse" because that was very very thin two years ago, let alone now. what has happened regarding the awful bod voting and post agm rns? just excuse piled upon excuse and incredibly disrespectful.

who on earth was the main architect and "overview" manager of the trin debacle on this bod? to criticise the uk rules and procedures around this issue was a total disrespect and indicated complete lack of knowledge, imho. if they were so patently "unfair" (or whatever??!!) why not challenge in the courts??!! (lol).

hopefully this will "recover" but i think it's going to take a little longer than it otherwise should do and had these assets been managed properly in first place "we" wouldn't even be having this discussion?!

It would be good if the completely appropriately sized and remunerated BoD, indicated to the market, how much good value TXP currently is, by buying some for themselves in this open market, like everyone else does?

I personally wouldn't have used compartmentalised to describe this (as often this can mean a plethora of issues depending upon the geology, IMHO) but if it is, as they clearly quote it is just TWO "compartments" which I am assuming is split by fault which coincides "sort of" with block borders, this is actually potentially (really) good news (considering the figures involved which I'll take for the moment with a pinch of Rosyton salt and assjmd it is early syage "management" "estimates"?) again, IMHO!!

I'd always hoped we had HC product in next block and this was one of my main reasons for staying here!

It's such a shame now, there appears to be little market trust in the current management team as this should be really good news but hopefully with some time and gradual evolution of the shareholders register this will start to fix itself.
