Probably all the people who bought at a highly discounted price due to recent (ridiculous) placing and are scalping a well earned profit?
Do you mean DH, MNN?
In brief answer to your questions - I don't bloody know - this investment is a nothing part of my portfolio!
I get upset (impatient and frustrated, lol?!) because the initial guidance was during Dec, then end of Dec then mid Jan - this is the third amendment so just get it right - as the continual changes just smack of amateur hour (considering the pfmce to date)! It is all to easy to cry - oh but its the O&G industry so things are never straight forward - which is fine - but when it's coming from such a padded timeline in first place - it gets your goat!!
Anyways off out for the day now so best of luck all! By the way I like to think I have a few contacts in the industry (referring to references to "industry experience regarding delays etc") and not one has bought shares in IOG - laughing at me for doing so - me being arrogant ignore these facts - just like I did when got similar feed-back and bought AEX years ago, lol (which may actually do well this year)! Take from that what you will.
As ever all IMHO, DYOR and truly best of luck here - I am sure Southwark will come in well - as it appears to still being (finally?) tested and it "looks" good (?!)
DS it doesn't imply a confirmed date but for the umpteenth time and for W69 as well.
1. If it isn't as expected - update us why - pretty simple really - I don't really attribute too much to what Newall says - it isn't legally relied upon - an RNS is.
2. If previous RNS guidance does not still stand - update us - simple.
3. I am fed up with hearing about the difficulties regarding bringing gas assets on-stream (during the winter) - as a retired professional who I hasten to add is contacted multiple times a year for work or advice / guidances etc - here is mine -
a. Get your projects under control so you don't need to work in the winters
b. Pad the timelines massively for such RNS guidances
c. If you have and you still can't achieve these padded timelines then look at why this is and sort it out!
d. go back to a.
e. If IOG management see this or someone sends onto them - no charge for this guidance
All IMHO, DYOR.
Where does the rns state around mid January? It states simply "mid January" which was yesterday.
Taking that in the context it alway seems that IOG timelines include double padding I see it as a let down by Newall if we don't hear anything tomorrow.
IMHO, DYOR.
They hardly have a good record for keeping shareholders updated but hopefully Newall will be different.
Nice observation Spa. Cheers.
Agree Andrew - simple update RNS on testing all that was required - very green management - thought better. IMHO
Last post as I'm on holiday, no problem for them to confirm that testing went as planned and commercial production expected mid January as previously guided however, they should RNS if testing and clear up didn't go to plan and or mid January start up of gas unlikely. When (or only if hopefully!) that information becomes apparent to them (of course, LOL) is open to "interpretations". I do not personally think "Southwark" doesn't "work" but certainly communications have to improve in current market environment and I thought RN appreciated this need.
All IMHO, DYOR and no advice intended!!
Lol its probably the "shorters" or the "mms" fault not the constant under performance of the "management" here of course.
I thought Newall understood the mechanisms of the "new" trading market and the need to feed constant good news RNS because if not, the speculators are going to tear the share price down considering the crap dished up here to date.
What a shame. All IMHO, DYOR of course.
Probably more likely going back to previous "form".
Newall looked like he had learned from Bozos previous communications mistakes.
Why haven't they bothered to RNS about test results?
Simple notification everything went well and looking forward to commercial production starting as previously guided.
Starting to be like muppet central again but lets be clear, with the pooh BS / share ownership structure here I'd expect pretty quick changes if Southwark doesn't perform as expected?!
As ever all IMHO and Dyor!!
Interested to hear if it is returning Spa - on holiday at moment and don't have much access at all to laptop. Bloody hope it is finished - as if not timelines starting to look very stretched again unless simply on stand-by for "emergency work"?!! IMHO, DYOR.
Yes from memory they were net figures - were they not?
Spa, agree 100000%
Superhuman. No genuinely not at the moment as am already geared enough for TXP. As I say may buy some more when drill bit is in ground and genuinely wish all holders well who average down at these prices. I still think PB can happily miss more targets again but if not already hold 1mm plus here.
All IMHO, dyor.
Absolutely, why invest with that tit in charge?
He's not achieved any timelines at all and done the exact opposite of what he voluntarily promised. I ain't buying a a thing again until until the bit is in ground.
Total fing twat.
All IMHO, dyor.
Thanks SNl.
Fully concur.
Who cares you don't care David? Honestly you really come across like an idiot with your posts, are you trying to be ironic?
SpaMarda/ Sailor NL are you guys still with "us"?
Any operations viewpoints?
Best of luck all.
To be honest not taking WoW into account it has way passed the half-way mark for the budgeted two wells combined has it not (don't know how much WoW was in those figures either?)- so it was probably a "safe assumption" the job was completed - I think a post by some chap on here earlier in week - with a "certainty" about it - that probably set the ball rolling!! Who knows? We certainly will in the next two weeks - so here's hoping we don't see too much more share price weakness in the interim!!
Best of luck all.
As ever all IMHO, DYOR.
It didn't take big volumes "before" - I think "possibly" now just because everyone fairly assumed that the stim etc had been completed which probably was in line with budgeted timelines - now we find the vessel going back to site this evening - so maybe people upset about the job not being completed and costing more and / or assuming an issue arising when they thought the job completed and the vessel having to go back? There's going to be a lot of nervous people out there because if Southwark f's up then God knows what will happen, lol!!
All IMHO and DYOR.
