Whilst I’m not selling, if people got in at 1-2p and are offloading now they’ve possibly trebled their money already and tbh CMET have been a tough share to stick with given all the false dawns and mismanagement imo from Frayne.
More positive news to come, CMET seem to have a good CEO, demonstrated in the last 6 months.
That said I’m not selling, the potential here could be life changing money, so I’m holding onto my shares until we see in excess of 50p
Each to their own, do your own research and GLA
From what I can make out TSL is just in the same industry, no connection other than that. That said, I did find an earlier investment note where TSL talk about CMET and that was relayed to the MoU with LB Group.
The date of the announcement from TSL struck me , given it was 16th of April 2024, as did the 40% equity share as all previous talk has been about a 50/50 joint venture… so either they’re making stuff up and including it in an investor note on ASX or they know it’s happened.
Fingers crossed it has happened and we start to see the SP rise.
As Fusion_Trader mentions... https://www.listcorp.com/asx/tsl/titanium-sands-limited/news/placement-3019672.html this seems to suggest a deal has been done, but not announced, with LB taking 40%, SR having 10% etc...
This seems a little odd to me, so going to do some research but I really hope this is accurate
I'd love to see the announcement before the 60days of DD are up but in reality it's probably unlikely, as the investing company and vendors they're using will probably need the most, if not all, of the 60 days.
We're just over half-way through the DD, with any luck we'll hear before end of April but my guess is 2nd week in May.
Would love to be proved wrong and I'd be much happier if the announcement was well within the 60 days but as long as it happens, I don't care.
We all have to show some patience now, easier said than done for those of us who have been in a long time but we are now 30 days or less from hearing about the joint venture and hopefully learning that Sheffield, LB Group or both will be involved in funding the project through production.
IMHO that should just be the start for us, I won’t be selling then, as the potential is only then unlocked! I’ll be holding on and waiting for the other licenses to be granted and for the company to start making profits
I guess some of it is related to how the company was under Frayne - numerous false dawns etc… whereas now we’ve had Sheffield actually invest and commit to 60days of DD and the company seems to have dealt with the GSMB and the corruption that suspended the IML.
We just need to hold fast and hope that the DD goes positively ( imho it should’ve been completed to some degree before the original Sheffield investment ) and then we are on the SP rocket ship
Also, news the other day from Sheffield about their first bulk shipment from the Thunderbird project - they look like a great partner

A week ago we got the RNS which updated us on the Outstanding IML Applications & Additional CCD Mine Permit, I wonder how advanced these were before the RNS dropped, given how soon after the investment from Sheffield was announced?
Outside of the JV offtake agreement these feel like the big ticket items to me, getting all 9 IMLs in place would be enormous and it feels like it's really close, the RNS read, "The Company has now received a formal letter confirming the GSMB's intention to process the Company's seven outstanding IML applications"
I am hopeful the GSMB are fast-tracking these 7 IMLs given the historical problems
After the RNS yesterday it feels imminent that we will hear about the JV announcement.
You’d assume Sheffield have already completed most of, if not all of the DD given they’ve up their stake to 14% , so hopefully we will hear very soon and we can all look forward to moving into production.
