What does the Newmont-Orosur deal look like?

‘The Newmont-Orosur deal struck in 2018 foresees financing in three phases over a period of 12 years which will eventually see Newmont spend at least $30m in total to earn up to 75% ownership of Anza. In the first two years Newmont committed to paying $1m per year and in years three and four, that is 2021 and 2022, the payments should increase to $4m per year. By the end of the first four years Newmont will hold 51% in Orosur.‘

Not sure what they'd pay but NM already own 18.8%? of them.

The only negative is the fact it's flown off the handle abit before most of us had time to throw more funds in. Unless FARC are heading towards the Andes or Escobar's not really dead we shouldn't have much to worry. If the results that come back are much better than expected, what do people think the odds are of NM taking over Agnico? That's something I keep dwelling on, not sure why though. Gut feeling.

At the end of the day if you throw a decent amount in and it doubles in 12 months your laughing, better than 0.00064% off Natwest or the other jokers. The results are obviously there and there's no risk of finance worry / dilution. What more do you need.

Share price is irrelevant, it's as Bhargav stated the Market Cap you want to look at. There's going to be no dilution going forward so if we got to half of GGP's Market Cap, approx 400m then that would give us a SP of £2.50 or 7.5x the current SP.

He's buying them for fun at the minute. Its a long hold for me.

I won't mate, still 200% up here at this level so can't lose really. Going up build a decent stake in here though over next few weeks / months. These last few days have been carnage, I thought GGP would be creeping up in anticipation of news / results, but standing still. Good luck to all. Same here Phoe, was waiting in the shadows around 26p. Hahaha, theirs no one worse on this planet than me at timing buys and sells. If anybody wants it to go to 40p agin just let me know and i'll top slice now or even try n sell the lot to buy back at 30p.

Nice post KingArthur, I also agree it is if, not when. The previous drill results are there to see. The only reason Agnico have been brought into this is discover the vast size of this. It would have took NM years to get to were we are now, with Covid, transporting equipment, setting up personnel etc. All bodes well. You can see by the large buys which keep popping up, everyone with a brain are accumulating these.

I decided against trading twice it went over 40p, could have earned a few extra thousand shares, though i'm here long term so not worth risking missing the boar or loosing shars. Thats how I look at it anyway. Slowly creeping back up.

If people cannot wait a few months for drilling and results they don’t deserve to make money. I use to make the same mistake often, but I have learnt. Bhargav in GGP for example will tell everyone the same. Personally it can keep dropping for my liking, going to wait to add more now instead of diving straight in like I did the other day when it dropped to 34p. The companies fully funded and also being receiving payments so there’s zero risk in my eyes, as the grades are already there. See ya in January.

Great post that one KingArthur, really nice way of summing up the situation. I would not rule out NM potentially buying out Agnico if the resource is a huge one.

A sell I believe. Maybe hunting riches elsewhere and fear of uncertainty with mention of lockdown again?

I think the miners in general have had a bad day, though this was due in reality, it had rose way too quick. Sit and hold until drilling results which is only a few months away. Most shares can take years to multi bag. Good luck to all

Can’t see it entering the 20s again, though if it does I’ll throw as much as can physically get my hands on at it. If I’d got it above 40p I should not worry, markets caps still counting it as a dog of AIM. All in my opinion of course.

Another good purchase. The intent is there for such a small market cap company. Seriously going places in few years time this one. COBR well up today, we own a percentage there also.
