Jonah don't upset me, I was too young to go then only 15 a few days before but I did get a program. If I remember right there was a versions in different languages? My mum threw it out along with many other valuable ones after I left home. Had Chelsea Villa home and away from 55 when we first won the league amongst many others.
Steady on Frogs you talk of the love of my life lol 300 mile round trips often twice a week and all over Europe for 52 years. While we wait there is little to speak about sex that hasn't been said and so I too am very busy on a business expansion program. Five new venues in less than three months. Strangely enough the delay has concentrated my mind to look forward to life on many fronts and it's healthier on the mind being positive and away from all the moaning. GLA I'll not be far away. Oh yes Made the champions League won a European trophy for the sixth time. 16 trophies in 16 years. Not bad for a little club :0)) Aex next up to bring the smiles
I'd trust him more with a hundred grand than I would you with 10p and that's a fact.
Of course they are contracted to pay as was agreed, however that does not prevent negotiated settlements of any nature and from my reading of events, it appears that process is taking place at the moment.
Exactly Sardy, when I eventually do move out after reaching the high aims I've set myself here, then it will be none of my business so I won't be posting to put the spoke in!
Others leavers should do the same and show some respect to those the remaining holders who have helped them reach their goals by being in it with them.
I'm with you gooba, there is likely a game going on with the negotiations.
JB was in Congo to Finalise the agreement this week yet it still has to be finalised?
SNPC were looking at reducing their percentage and now they are paying a higher sum and intention to do more?
Suddenly not enough info to complete CPR :0))
Chess Gambit in play IMO so the company are tacking for the moment. I have no fears about where this is going, we just have to wait while the opponents see out the game. I expect next weeks info will lift us considerably so I'll look forward to that and keep my beans in the bag
If drafted this afternoon I wouldn't expect it in the morning tbh. Doesn't it have to be checked over legally before release?
I'd be quite happy for it drop while the bad guys are out the office on the Friday lunch time booze up :-)
It's an AGM because it's that time of year the A gives a clue. If it were for that reason only it would begin with an E. :0) Sitting right where we are at this moment I wouldn't vote for it and I'm sure they know most of us wouldn't, so like others have said, I fully expect to have some big news to come in the next days. I'm not selling a bean, I expect this to rise.
Most likely in a vat of Guinness, he'll have to come out for a pee at some tine
I'm ready, drum roll count down
This site is becoming a joke when you have a post removed for calling out and quoting someone else's lies.
This really is no place for an honest person like myself.
Seen this today and I'm supporting it. Personally I have the feeling that a mistake was made in thinking Ruvuma was so big why spend money on KW. Maybe totally wrong of course but by the time these big Ruvuma delays materialised KW remediation had become much more difficult in servicing and of course the financial situation. If this was the case then it was an error and again an all eggs in one basket scenario. Again I'd like to give them the benefit of doubt as we had the payments and claim by TPDC go against us at the same time. All rather conveniently timed to when Wen went public over not being paid and TPDC switching payments over to them to help clear arrears. May not be related but it was a hell of a coincidence. I know services are severely restricted over there which you gave pointed out for a long time but I'm expecting some news on that quite soon so fingers crossed for something nice to give the AGM a boost
I can't argue with that Pete the diversification issue has proved a hard lesson for them to learn but I do wonder if they were waiting for the success at Ruvuma to provide the funding for that. I'm not sure how holders would have reacted for raising before Ruvuma became successful? You would have your finger more on the pulse at that time than myself. I understand that they are now working in the background on some form of diversification and are not sitting idle while in the delay period but I know nothing more
Well hard-nose, in this case No I don't, because no management in the world could forsee a government that decides it wants to change the contracts after they gave been signed. It is the corruption caused by greedy western companies buying favours that has put the investment situation in Tanzania where it is. Magufuli went in on a ticket to stamp it out and he has pretty much had all resource company's contracts gone over with a fine tooth comb. My understanding is Aminex have no issue or anything to worry about which is partially supported between the lines of that recent article. In saying that I do agree there are many areas where things could have been handled better but people as each of us do, tend to make timescale judgements on information given. I know the company expected this to have been completed a fair while ago. I would say communication but as a board who should look after the value of the company for its share holders, just how would you say we are now on hold for two years espet when you've been under the impression things will be sorted in six months. I do defend them because they've had a difficult task and have it appears been strung along themselves. Just think, if they had said we are on hold those two years and then it was sorted in six months the so would have bombed for nothing. It was a catch 22 situation in my view
Jodo "Last June it was very critical of what it regarded as mismanagement and failure to advance shareholders’ interests; this was a sentiment shared by serious contributors to this board at the time and since. It may that they, and others, were unaware - or insufficiently aware - of the Tanzanian government’s responsibility for the delays but nobody was advancing that as a justification at the time, that I recall" Funnily enough I, and other less voiciferous contributors do consider me to be a serious contributor to this board however apart from the sheep each has their own opinion. As for advancing the theory of Government holding us back, both myself and Crusty have been saying it all along. As I was more voiciferous in defending the board over that and other issues, I have received a tremendous amount of abuse on here but now you know the truth, it has been the governmet all along. As for them not knowing and people on here not knowing, I don't see that as an excuse for them or any contributor here to behave as badly as they did in my eyes. If I as one man can do the research and find out what I need to know then surely others can too and I certainly expect that to be so coming from a professional news outlet. No I don't trust them as a source. They have proved they can do a 180 without anything have changed other that the CEO resigning through illness. My advise to them and the nasties on here is to do your research, crikey even common sense would have told you the government were delaying things. I must have drawn the comparrison to planning permission for a shed in this country a hundred times just to show how long things take. Imo this share will still pay off very handsomely
To watch a share price hold when you are desperate for it to go down. I see even more vultures have flown in than last week. Dave will say something when he has something to say and I doubt it will be long at all, so sit and wait for the extra fraction and get caught when he does drop it at an unexpected time, or get in and be sure. All the BS is boring
Just so it's clear when they were putting it out and inferring the assets were worthless. If that was the case, they would be worthless at 7p or 1p wouldn't you think. Of course 1p us an easier risk to take but if worthless there would be no point. Me, I'll just hoover up what I can afford while it's at these levels
