Lots of doom and gloom on the board today. Not happy, sell and invest elsewhere. Hundreds of companies to choose from. Simple
CPFC, You might well be right but it would be nice to hear from the company exactly what the issue is rather than us having to do guess work. I'm having a whinge about the delay but I firmly believe things will come good here, I'm just a bit frustrated at the length of time it's taking and with no update from the company as to why
Top, you shouldn't have to chase Scott for an update. He should be updating all shareholders as to why financial close is dragging on and on by way of an RNS. As shareholders and therefore part owners of the company I think Scott should be duty bound to provide us an update as to what is going on with the peakers. Given his pre Xmas statement that financial close may slip beyond Christmas and into the new year I don't think it's in any way unreasonable given we will soon be in JUNE for goodness' sake. I've no doubt we will get financial closure and the deal done. The financial rewards to our investors are just so good they won't want to miss out but the length of time it is taking is becoming ridiculous and a real test of patience even for staunch long term holders. Get your finger out Scott and seal the deal or at least give us a quick update. GLA
Hundred if not thousands of other companies on AIM. Personally if I had had doubts about the company I,d be looking elsewhere, but each to their own. At 1.3p a share and all the plays we,re involved in at the moment I think Corcel has every chance of delivering sizeable return from here. Things are moving a little slower than I'd like but seem to be heading in the right direction. I'm here until at least we get financial close at the peakers and the Mambare mining lease is secured. I expect both to deliver multiples of our current SP. Am I right ? time will tell but I don't intend being out when the news arrives. GLAl
Just had a listen to the Stock Box interview. Scott sounded very upbeat and positive. Everything seemingly going well and to plan. One day soon the transformational news WILL land and our current paltry SP will be long gone. Keep the faith, don't think we,re far away
I'm hoping we are now entering a period where we get a number of RNS,s and a flurry of good news. Not a fan of this sitting tight and waiting lark although sometimes it has to be done however tedious
Top, the Wo Wo Gap updated Jorc is a positive and another step in the right direction. Still some way to go before have a mining lease to start digging which may well be what potential buyers/ investors will be waiting for. Mambare on the other hand is at the final hurdle and the mining lease could be granted at anytime. To me that would be a major catalyst which could well see us multi bagging immediately. I would then expect Mambare to be sold very quickly or major investors to come on board. The other major short term multi bagging event would be financial close at Avonmouth, and again news of that is overdue and could come at any moment. Gla
Amazed at our current price considering everything we have brewing. We just need a decent RNS to get us up and running., Surely of all the things on the go something is almost cooked and ready to serve. GLA
Per Google we are up 8%. Is that right ?
A very quiet week. Let's hope we get some hot news soon and things get jiggy. GLA
Rock, I think exactly the same. We don't have the cash to develop a mine ourselves so would make sense to sell at least one to fund other projects or maybe hang on to a small stake, say 10% to give us an annual return. Fingers crossed we get news soon
All very quiet again. Does anyone have any thoughts on when we might expect big news to land ? A bit of a guessing, game but I'd be interested to know people's thoughts. I'm thinking particularly of Avonmouth financial close,Mambare mining lease and talks with Chinese partners re updates to DSO plans.
Rock, Think we,re all just waiting on news. Can't be far off, surely
Sniper, great posts. You,ve put some graft in this morning. Do you not fancy trying to get a seat on the board, I,ll vote for you. In all seriousness though it's good to know most are feeling the same, full of optimism the SP will do really well but frustrated things are taking longer than expected. Fingers crossed news arrives soon. GLA
Mike, Good idea to set alerts, I think I,ll do the same myself.. Mike like yourself i'm expecting great things from Corcel and the transformational news we,re waiting on can't be far away I just find it a pain waiting. It would be nice if the company were able to inform shareholders of how things are progressing and how close we are but that's never going to happen. I'm sure it will all be worth the wait in the end and like everyone else I,ll just have to put up with it. GLA
Nige, Things just seem to be dragging on. Tough going this being patient.
Nige, if I'm right in thinking the meeting was last week then yeah we should be due an update. I'm just amazed at how long it's taking to get to financial close at Avonmouth. I remember listening to a podcast early December when Scott suggested close could happen just before or after Christmas. It's now approaching mid April and we,re still waiting. This is becoming a real test of patience waiting on the big news that could really make a difference like Avonmouth close and finally getting hold of the Mambare lease but it could well be worth the wait and transform the SP. For that reason,as drawn out as this is becoming I,ll be here until the news arrives. Hopefully we won't be waiting much longer.
Rock, We,re all waiting on the big news. The Mambare mining lease or financial close at Avonmouth. Either will be huge for us and should catapult the SP. Fingers crossed we get the news we want very, very soon. GLA
Yrab/cattleman, I understand where your coming from. I've been year about a year myself and it does feel a bit like Jam tomorrow and rainbow chasing. Very frustrating and a test of patience. However we are at the end game for Avonmouth and Mambare. A business case has been put together by Corcel and we will either get funding for Avonmouth or we won't. Regarding Mambare we are also at the very end point. Waiting to find out if the mining lease is given final approval or not. Approval and mining can go ahead is my understanding. A thumbs up for either is massive for Corcel and the SP. if we get funding for Avonmouth and Mambare approval it will be transformational for the company and it will be anyone's guess where the SP will go. As frustrating as the wait is I'm here until I find out the results of both of these pivotal points. No one knows when we will get to know these outcomes. It could be tomorrow/days/weeks or even a few months but I'm going nowhere and don't intend missing out. Stay strong. GLA
Yab, SK in one of the podcasts said the lease side of Burwell was not the issue as it was in the interests of both parties to come to an arrangement. As/when the sub station gets the thumbs up the lease should be sorted quickly
