If a bid is accepted you get a cheque( showing my age there).... if a bid comes in at a £ the likelihood good is the share price will overshoot in expectation if a higher bid to follow.... if the bid comes in from an unexpected source then the fireworks will start IMO

Has all the signs of an offer incoming anytime..... similarities with Marl uncanny , price being suppressed, great news being ignored and good news being delivered well ahead of schedule??
Only last week they were saying MRE2 still on schedule for December..... they must have known then ......

Thanks ....... no amount of buying or good news will help if this is being forcibly held ..... first offer will trigger things (soon IMO) hopefully from a third party and the BHP are free to react ..... and so it begins

This looks like it’s being held in a vague range around 36-36p..... 20 day VWAP to justify a lowball offer around 75p mark whilst the 100% premium makes it look generous...... not sure who will make the first move , but pretty certain anything around that level would be rejected out of hand ..... just my musings whilst we wait DBW
