“Financing and feasibility will be good for project value and hence share value. The problem is that it doesnt translate into stock prices because the shareholders are inherently sellers always. They only buy to sell at a higher price later. If it doesn't go up quickly or enough after news they sell, creating a self fulfilling prophecy. Read the chat sites !

Webinar rescheduled to Tuesday 19th

This is just a gut feeling, but I think NM is looking to protect the share price to a degree and he’s fully aware that without further news this will drift .

Whilst some will now sell thinking the big news is out and this is going to drift ( you may be right ) .
I feel the funding news was probably built into the price as we were pretty much given the heads up by Nick and the Hoff the other day .
I also however believe that there are plenty of other short term price drivers in the offing ..... as I said before it would be interesting to know if Nick and the board can now buy shares .... I suspect they cannot .

We still need it confirmed that they can now buy , if they are still in a closed period that would be very interesting

Forgive me if this has already been suggested but my question to Nick will be whether he is now able to buy more shares if he so desires

Whilst I take your point , I think you miss mine to some degree.
All I was saying is that I’m happier to trust the value of Franko Nevada, than the short term valuation dictated by the market. As I don’t have the nerve or wisdom to trade these it’s not an issue in my case.

Woody , I don’t believe that BHP would be tied in anyway by the standstill if they really wanted to bid.

All we are missing is the catalyst.... whatever that may be

If Franko Nevada willing to value this at 3bn why do the market see us at 600m?
They will know the geopolitical risk and are willing to risk 100m ( minimum) if this thing never gets built ??
What is keeping this way below any sane value ?
