Sorry for changing the subject but Nick clearly said re Alpala that we have the ability to produce another 3 of these in the next 6 months ..... surely that is at least as significant as the CGP bid and may be one of the reasons why the offer has been formally moved on this week ?

I asked the company 2/3 weeks ago if they had already begun drilling at some of the other tenements, the reply I got was
“ Apologies – I can’t answer that at the moment, but will keep you posted with news.”
All they had to say was no but drilling teams have been mobilised..... there is plenty going on that we are oblivious to IMO

So what is Nick's plan from here on in until October , simply to release news that will bolster the share price and make the current offer seem more attractive? And all the time the clock is ticking for Irwin & co . Irwin was appearing to change his tune a couple of months back when he said the deposit at Cascabel was without peers globally.
It's imperative we don't reach mid October with the share price still floundering around these levels , Nick knows this & Citi know this

I thought at the point of DFS CGP become liable for their share of development costs moving forward and on top of that had to pay 10% ish of all the monies already spent at Cascabel immediately.

I always thought the October standstill would approach and the price would rise in anticipation, then nothing would happen . It feels very different now

I know many disagree but I believe come October,BHP will buy Newcrest’s stake and it is not in their interests to let the share price run away in the meantime. Not a conspiracy theory just a feeling.
